Ryan from TheTransmission recently filed a great shooting report, and he has also just given us – exclusively – the identity of William Atherton’s character on lost. Read on for the details.
Atherton will play the role of Principal Reynolds. How perfect is that? Quite, right? But wait, there is more. I suggest you check out Ryan’s report here, and this follow up at TVOvermind which has a few more details concerning the shoot that Ryan has passed along.

I hope he pisses off the losties and to get back at him they fill his house up with popcorn while jacob blasts him with a laser from space filling his whole house up!
Awesome…just awesome.
Lazlo!!!!
I read your TV Overmind post accompanying this…It sounds quite strange. I have NO IDEA how this is going to fit in.
Oh wow. I just logged onto the main page to see if the premiere date was set yet and I see this right away. Isn’t this a spoiler? Don’t you have policies about not posting them on the main page?
shut up
Seriously? You consider the mere fact that an actor was hired a spoiler? Geez. If you can’t stand knowing even who is working on a tv show, you should not be going to any tv show site.
Hey Patrick. No, this is not a spoiler unless you click into the article. In fact Carlton himself tweeted Atherton’s casting, and we know how much Carlton hates spoilers.
Okay then. Well, I hope he is just as a prick as Walter Peck.
May I please see the storage facility, Mr. Venkman?
I have to agree with Patrick that this seems a little spoilerish. I mean, it’s news about the upcoming season, and it’s story-related. I think that technically qualifies as a spoiler, no matter which way you slice it. (How big a spoiler is a matter of debate, of course.)
Some people even consider promos spoilers, so the fact that Carlton tweeted about it doesn’t really negate the spoilerocity of the info. I’m not trying to start a debate or anything. I’m just sayin’.
this is a lie being used to throw us off
