A Very LOST Christmas

Those Podcasting virtuosos at “After-LOST” have whipped up a Christmas special no LOST fan should miss!  Not only does the podcast feature just about every LOST podcaster to ever preach the gospel of Dharma, it features them in a bit of a pod-theater take on “A Christmas Carol” introduced by Kris White, and narrated by Francois Chau himself! Listen for a familiar voice portraying the Ghost of Podcasts Present!  Does this mean Koobie and I should dust off our mics?  The whole ‘present’ thing seems for not if we don’t.  Maybe…. just maybe.  Let’s just say, I’m a method actor – and I believe what the ghost of Podcasts Present believes – that the conversation of LOST is far from over!  Enjoy!

LOST Giveaway to Support The Trevor Project

LOST fans, I am giving away a giant prize package of Lost memorabilia to support The Trevor Project. In light of the horrific recent teen deaths due to bullying, it is more important than ever to raise awareness about the resources available to those seeking assistance during challenging times in their lives. The Trevor Project provides suicide prevention support and education for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth, in addition to a nationwide 24-hour crisis hotline.

In addition to several Lost McFarlane action figures, 2 Lost tees and 2 custom prints (including this Dr. Linus poster from Gideon Slife) from my personal collection, an autographed Dharma pint glass from Damon Lindelof and other items from those involved with the show will be also included in the Lost gift basket, as well a newly released Lost Encyclopedia! There are more items being donated as we speak…

For official giveaway details and rules, please visit JOpinionated.com and share either the link or video on Twitter and Facebook if you’d like to help spread the word. Also up for grabs is a gift basket full of books, posters and DVDs from other popular shows like Fringe and Mad Men.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Where to get LOST at ComicCon 2010

Our good friend Jopinionated has published a guide to all of the LOST-centric offerings at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.  Check it out here!

Even though there is not going to be an official panel at Comic-Con this week, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to interact with and attend panels featuring former cast and crew.

LOST Snares 13 Emmy Nominations!

Congrats to LOST for snaring many well deserved Emmy nominations!  The fact that “The End” received numerous noteworthy noms (directing, writing, music, and guest star for Elizabeth Mitchell to name a few) will surely reactivate the mixed emotions amongst the fans.  What do you think?  Were there other episodes more deserving of a nom, or – in the style of Mad Men – multiple noms in the same category?  Personally, I’m astonished that Eddy and Adam weren’t nominated for Dr. Linus.  On an entirely unrelated note, can I just say… no Lithgow?  WTF?! Lithgow FTW!

Knowing LOST Episode 1.03 Premieres!

Hey guys. This is my first post on this blog, though it’s probably not the first time you’ve read something I’ve written. I also write at TVOvermind, MovieOvermind, SpoilerTV, and I’m an administrator for Lostpedia. You might have been reading my new project, Knowing LOST, which started earlier this month. If you’re unfamiliar with the project or what it’s about, check out this post.

I’ll be posting on this site with reports from Knowing LOST, including major news (and there will be some major news). First of all, though, check out the latest episode. It’s the third episode, and is titled “Do You Want to Know a Secret?, which is written by myself and fellow TVOvermind scribe Mark O. Estes. Of course, I shouldn’t have to warn you guys — if you haven’t read the first two episodes, starting with the third episode isn’t the smartest thing you could do.

It’s going to be a big week for the project, so stay tuned to the site to remain in the know. On Monday, a brand new exclusive piece of Knowing LOST fan art will be posted and available for order. It’s worth every penny, too. Expect even more great news about the project later on in the week.

Until then, enjoy episode 1.03, “Do You Want to Know a Secret?”
