Here is an AWESOME comparison vid by LOST-fan Neil Pomerleau. As you can see, the openings match up QUITE well.

Wow, the best match was Rose’s line about Bernard in the bathroom.

  2. Kris Cain says:

That is pretty awesome! Good job.

  3. Rah Baby says:

We should do a Twitter campaign with the tag #BringShannon back! I mean, it’s totally non-sense her missing =/

  4. clueless1der says:

That was really well done. When you put the two together like that, does it seem as though Rose had some deja vu too?

That’s what I thought…they’re in 2 different parts of the plane. The fist time, you could see the plane’s wing when Jack was looking out of the window, then the second time the wing was no where in sight.

Can we interpret Rose’s line of “My husband keeps sayin that planes want to stay in the air” and “My husband said that planes want to stay in the air” as indicating which timeline came before the other?

What I find fascinating is that the color balance is off. The newest one has the colors almost muted. If you watch it again, she how vivd the colors are on The Pilot’s version. Just look at Cindy’s uniform to see the difference. I have to believe that if an amateur like me can keep the white balance in check, this must have been done for a reason.
