Wow. It’s official. They’ve ruined Sawyer.

In Season 6 they better the hell re-redeem him.

    • Gripp says:

Yeah those “heroe’s Journey” articles that Doc hosted last year really had me certain that Sawyer had reached the last act of his personal arc. Who knew?

    • cpoole2342 says:

The way Darlton “set-up” and structure these finales is a “frakin” testament to the “One True God’s” influence over, and ultimate plan for our society!!

HaHa, anyways…. these dudes f*ckin! rock and this episode “The Incident” is gonna melt our minds….

17 episodes left to ponder over. If I am LOST now, will I be FOUND by May 2010?

As convoluted as this story has become, what act is gonna bring us back to the story of the character’s? For the God’s sakes, a frackin hydrogen bomb named “Jughead” has become “Juliet” to Jack’s “Romeo”….

The show LOST is my personal constant, if my nose starts to bleed, then feed me a chocolate before dinner and lay me by the stream for the epic pan out to oblivion…..

      Jacob Save The Queen!

    • Ed Holden says:

I actually *like* what’s happened with Sawyer this season. Of course I enjoyed his character tremendously before, but like all of the characters (Jack, Kate and Locke also come prominently to mind) he’s changed a great deal and I think this is one of the best qualities of the show.

Consider what’s happened to him since the relatively static character we saw in Seasons One and Two. In The Brig, Sawyer completed his lifelong goal of killing the man who caused his parents’ deaths. He even presented the letter he wrote as a boy. After this he no longer had much of a purpose, and at the end of Season Four he gave up his relationship with Kate saw her die (he thought) when the freighter exploded. Then he settled down with Juliet and a got real job for three years.

Good character development should produce someone who’s very much the same man, wisecracks and all, yet is also someone who makes his life history evident through his actions. This type of development is something I’m really enjoying about Lost. You don’t get character development as well-executed as this on other shows.

  10. lockeheart says:

Id be willing to bet the knife that kills jacob will be the one that was shown to 5 year old locke in Cabin Fever.

  11. Thor says:

So back in the days when Locke got his cabin-map from Horace down in the pit, did he really get it from Sayid?

  12. dtruth says:

This is what happens to Sawyer in the so called “season of Sawyer”? He is neutered! Seriously?!

  13. INawe says:

    I am in blind mode…

    u spoiler junkies !!!! ;p

  14. ghanima says:

Juliet needs to give Sawyer back his cajones- he is useless. I thought he was supposed to be all “grown up” over the past 3 years- yet he’s all content to let Hurley and Jin get baked to a crisp. Ugh.

  15. bonosk says:

I think Ben would rather kill himself than Jacob, or whatever he believes “Jacob” to be. Ben is in quite a fix – damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. And Locke’s a bit of a douche for asking Ben to do it. (Who knows…Perhaps Locke IS Jacob, and can’t commit suicide?) XD

  16. Ummm says:

See, I think it’s clear Sawyer is conflicted here. He WANTS to go back and help them, but he loves Juliette and sees how insecure she is about his lover for her (at least right now) He’s trying to prove to her how much he cares. Which is sweet. Now knock it off and get back to being a snarky bad ass.

  17. Landry B. says:

Is it wrong to chuckle that the one Iraqi knows a lot about the bomb?

  18. Lebowski Achiever says:

Is it possble that Locke wants Ben to kill Jacob because Ben killed him? Maybe he thinks that the same person should kill them both to ultimately set them free.

  19. meems says:

MY HEAD IS EXPLODING! I love it!! And, I like the new Sawyer. He’s made a character change, yes, but I think it’s just maturity.

  20. Barbapapa says:

Locke is just messing with Ben’s mind. He’s getting some payback for everything that Ben’s done to poor John in the past. He’s testing him to see if he’s really changed – really is following his new leader.
