That sounds like Horace behind the camera. I'd recognize that accent anywhere.

Actually I think that's Faraday. The voice is too soft to be Horace's. Not to mention, there's a clue right in the dialogue:

Dr. Chang- This information comes from a source that has proven himself to be credible.
Faraday- None of that matters... It doesn't matter. Just get to it.

Daniel Faraday is the source because he's from the future. Horace isn't.

Perhaps Faraday gets thrown back 30 years when the island moves. Or Perhaps the whole isalnd moves 30 years back.

Can someone post a little trancript because i don't understand English very well. Al least can someone tell me what is his real First name and what is he saying before watching his hand. I think it could be explain how he loses his hand that he replace by a prosthesis in the Swan Orientation vidéo.

There's a baby in the room...babies can't be born on the island. A subtle hint at something?

There was a baby in the beginning. At first I thought nothing of it, but then I remembered that babies can not be born on the island. A tease at things to come?

What I found most interesting, it seems to me that the actor broke the forth wall a bit at the beginning, when he was trying to set up the establishment of the material. I don't know if this was intentional on his part or on the director of the video's part.


It was almost like he was "winking" to Lost fans before he got into the meat of his speech.


Not important as a clue or anything, but just an observation.

Very good point. And I will "predict," in season 5, that we will be seeing Daniel both in a current time frame and "flashing" back 30 years to when Dharma was still active on the Island, much like Desmond.


And who is Daniels constant? In turn, that may mean that Desmond needs to get back to the Island to keep Faraday from "deep sixing" and blowing a brain pop.


So many possibilities.

Whoa, what a mind melting clip! Definitely Faraday's voice. Now I am almost certain that the people on the island are brought back to Dharma in its prime. Going to be fun to watch unfold.

And the crying baby has got to be significant. I love the idea of it being Miles as a Dharma infant.

If we want to try to connect the baby to some character in the show, I would say Miles.

I sotra agree with theskeptik, except that Pierre refers to it as a him. But you're on the right track (according to me).
I submit that Daniel is the voice behind the camera, therefore he is ageless like Richard and he was at one time part of the Dharma initiative. While on the island he had a family most notably a baby girl named Charlotte!
