On May 17, 1965, LuAnn Nadeau, also known as LuAnn de Lesseps, was born. Her father ran a construction business in Berlin, Connecticut, where she was raised. Two of her brothers are still the owners of the business. She has a total of six siblings. She wed Count Alexandre de Lesseps in 1993; their 2009 divorce was based on adultery. She also goes by the name “The Countess” occasionally because of her marriage to the Count. Noel and Victoria are their two children together. She wed Tom D’Agostino Jr. on December 31, 2016, and less than a year later, in August 2017, they announced their divorce.

De Lesseps worked with the elderly in a nursing home in Connecticut before beginning her career as a professional model. She has recently acknowledged that her time as a nurse assisted in the development of her people skills. She has also worked as a model for Wilhelmina. De Lesseps is best known for her part in the Bravo reality series “The Real Housewives of New York City,” where she plays a major cast member (RHONY). In Palm Beach, Florida, in December 2017, De Lesseps was taken into custody on suspicion of disorderly intoxication, battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, and making threats against a public official. She was later released, but on January 25, 2018, a third-degree felony charge was brought against her. She started a programme for alcohol treatment after being released.
On July 16, 2018, her RHONY co-star Bethenny Frankel confirmed that de Lesseps had skipped the show’s reunion filming to re-enter an alcohol treatment programme, though she had only stayed there for three weeks before leaving.
In addition, in July 2018, de Lesseps entered a plea deal to resolve the misdemeanour charges of trespassing, disorderly intoxication, and battery stemming from her arrest in Palm Beach. The felony charge of violently resisting an officer was dropped in exchange for her guilty plea to the misdemeanour charges. She was ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, go to two meetings of AA, and refrain from drinking alcohol for a year.
