Horacio Pagani Early Life
Horacio Pagani was born in Casilda, Argentina, on November 10, 1955. He is Luca and Maria Pagani’s son. Luca was an Italian baker. Horacio enrolled at the National University of La Plata in 1974 to study industrial design. Later, he attended the National University of Rosario to study mechanical engineering. Pagani began building vehicles out of balsa wood at a young age, and several of those cars may be shown at the Pagani showroom.
Horacio grew interested in engineering while living in Argentina, but he believed that the rural environment would not be conducive to pursuing an engineering profession. In 1977, he launched the “factory,” an 80-square-meter business. He was the sole employee, and his first assignment was to make high benches for a new neighbourhood pub. Pagani developed and built an F3 racer when he was 20 years old, and he relocated to Italy in the early 1980s to pursue his ambition of developing a supercar.
Horacio Pagani Lamborghini
Following his success in strengthening the bodywork of Renault’s racing cars, Horacio met with Giulio Alfieri, Lamborghini’s senior technical director, and was employed to handle simple chores like as sweeping. Pagani rose through the ranks of the firm, eventually becoming chief engineer, and in 1985, he created the Countach Evoluzione, which he described as “the first automobile totally comprised of composite materials.” When Lamborghini declined to purchase an enclave to help in the fabrication of carbon parts for the Countach Evoluzione, Horacio borrowed money to purchase his own enclave in 1987.
Pagani left Lamborghini in 1991 to establish the consultancy Modena Design, which produces carbon fibre composites for racing vehicles.
