Ok, in this video there is definitely some German and some French.

Around 0:17 a French woman starts speaking (she sounds a bit like Danielle's recording in the beginning of season 1). Around 0:30 the German man starts speaking. He says "Doch dabei schwankeln im Raum-Zeit-Kontinuum." The problem here is, that he definitely says "schwankeln", but in german we only have the word "schwanken" (to fluctuate). The sentence is btw more or less senseless. There are words missing. It has to be "Doch dabei schwanken *** im Raum-Zeit-Kontinuum." The stars have to be something else. The translation would be "Therefore *** is still fluctuating in the space-time-continuum." After that the French woman speaks again.

It is possible, but i don't think it's Dutch. A friend confirmed that this must be Eastern-European. I will ask a polish friend this evening. Maybe he can help.

Thinking about the video from Comic-Con, I noticed that it seems like Farraday may be the one behind the camera. It sounds a lot like him, and I noticed that a lot of people out there have the same opinion. And we know from Season 4 that Charlotte was once on the island... so I've formulated a new theory.

What if both Charlotte and Daniel were on the island during the days of the original Dharma Initiative. However, if Charlotte was born in 1979, at the time the video was made she'd be either not born, or an infant. However, if Daniel is the man behind the camera, then he's around the same age he was in Season 4. And if he is the man behind the camera, perhaps he also has knowledge of the future just like "Dr. Candle" does.

Maybe he cried in the second episode because he had known the plane was going to crash. He knew the truth about where it was.

Maybe this explains why he knew where the toxic gas was, and what it was for.

Now, there would be the matter of what the heck is going on with the time issues. Maybe he knew about constants, because he's also unstuck in time. Perhaps when the island moved, he was able to move back with it, and he's Candle's credible source of future info. Or maybe he's ageless like Richard? There are a million plausible theories as to how he could be the same age.

Another thing I thought about, relating back to Charlotte... we've all noticed that Daniel kinda has a thing for Charlotte. But what if it's not a romantic interest....but rather a Father/Daughter interest? That's why he's always telling her to be careful, and watching out for her. If he was the man behind the camera, then it'd be possible for him to be her father, if he's the same age when the video was made as he is in season 4.

Just some things I was thinking about after reading a theory that Daniel is the man behind the camera. What does everyone think?

i haven't seen anybody mention that in the new dharma logo there is an H & O. HO = 815

in the symbols that make up the new dharma octogon logo (on this hacked video and everytime i've seen the new dharma logo), one of the symbols clearly looks like an H and one looks like an O. they are directly across from each other on the sides of the octogon.the H is on the left and the O is on the right. i can't believe nobody else caught this. i haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. do you see it now?

it's kind of hard to make out in the video because the octogon starts turning, but if you check out lostpedias main page there is a picture of two dharma octogon logos. you can clearly see an H on the left side (the H is sideways, not vertical)and an O on right side of octogon. i am not going crazy! i need a constant!

Has anybody else noticed that the modern Dharma logo is rotated 90 degrees clockwise? Is this significant? Wasn't it about 90 degrees clockwise how much Ben turned the donkey wheel?

If Daniel/Sawyer/Juliet go back from the Present on the island and go back to the past and stop the purge from happening. I think that they will still be able to carry on to the present but when they hit the day of when they went back in time in 2004/5, then everything will transfer back to normal. They may have the knowledge of changing the past/stopping the purge, but the universe will correct itself and Jack/kate/sayid in the future will be non the wiser of them changing anything in the past because the universe will have course corrected itelf by the time it reaches 2004/5.

But I'm thinking somehow Daniel's book is from the past? It holds secrets of the alternate past that he has no memory? I think it's pretty clear that the reason he cried when he was watching about 815 on the news that he had previously encountered the 815ers but didn't remember it?

something no one mentioned in this discussion is the fact that there is a picture of a shipwrecked vessel on a beach. the black rock, maybe??? thre is also a very bizarre picture of something that could either be a hand (with 4 digits, coincidentally) or a vegetable. there are what appear to be slight burn marks on one extreme of it...what does it all mean? additionally the last image in the video is of red riding hood, with the wolf in bed pretending to be the grandmother....who is the wolf? ben? widmore?

this show is insane....
