A little late to the change so bare with me for a sec.   Reader Sara submitted some screen caps from earlier this morning which show some disturbances on the DharmaWantsYou site.  Click the thumbnails for full size pics.

Before we get too excited about the seemingly nonsensical nature of the letter arrangements (they are not anagrams as far as anyone can tell), think about the 'static' like distortion in some of the pics.  An indication that a video clip maybe trying to break through?

A commenter on DarkUFO named Matthew snooped in the source code and found the following snippet:

_loc_2 = ["I", "A", "M", "O", "N", "T", "H", "E", "I", "N", "S", "I", "D", "E"];

Shades of the good old Persephone days, right?   Could this be Dan Bronson breaking on through?  Is Dan even the primary protagonist of the story?  More info as it comes along.

Update: Here is the logo with all of the static images and unscrambled text!

The non-hacking-the-source-code solution is:

If you watch the random letters flash, one set of all-lowercase letters will display for a lot longer than the rest. Those letters, when unscrambled spell out: I AM ON THE INSIDE

Which is likely a message from Dan Broson/RuckusGuy...

game on my friends, hey doc you think you re rant lit a fire under their ass

I think this was part of the plan all along. The whole thing about security and such plays into the fact that someone in the story (Dan B) is hacking into their site. I don't think that link on Wednesday was a mistake at all.

haha Dharma Bum, probably more a case of "Doc opens mouth and inserts foot"

Well, actually the "rant"... while perhaps not having a direct result in this, highlights a large sentiment among fans and put things in context in my opinion, when compared to the show...

..Still, overall Hoodlum did a great job with Find815... hell they are nominated @ the Emmy's for it. o_O ...so I think there's a lot of hope they will be doing cool things with this ARG...

... I can't help but wonder, however, if the big pay off has already come. The video we saw of Pierre (and possibly Faraday) seems like a far bigger deal than anything I can see happening in this ARG... it's almost as if they've already put their cards on the table from day one. How can they honestly top that video?

ATTENTION ALL RECRUITS
RE: SECURITY BREACH AT COMIC-CON 2008

As many of you may be aware there have been a number of security breaches in recent days related to the nature of the Dharma Initiative's latest research.

Apart from the leak of a sensitive internal communication there was also the unauthorized release of confidential video documentation during a sponsored panel discussion with the makers of the TV show "LOST" at Comic-Con 2008 in San Diego. Consequently, the person responsible for this breach, a promising recruit by the name of Dan Bronson, has been expelled from the volunteer program and had his Dharma Initiative membership permanently revoked. Furthermore, the Dharma Initiative has withdrawn their sponsorship from "LOST".

The Dharma Initiative must stress that the video material leaked at Comic-Con 2008 was viewed entirely out of context. Furthermore, the way in which the material was presented utterly distorted its significance and credibility as scientific data.

The Dharma Initiative is extremely disappointed with this outcome and has ordered a security audit of all departments. As part of this audit the DharmaWantsYou recruiting website will undergo a security upgrade in the next few days.

Upon completion of this upgrade a date will be announced for the official commencement of Volunteer Assessments.

All recruits are reminded that the unauthorized release of confidential information pertaining to the details of your activities within the Dharma Initiative will result in instant dismissal from the volunteer program.

Namaste.
Hans Van Eeghen
Head of Recruiting
The Dharma Initiative

also in the email source code our "friend inside" taunts Hans with "Good luck my old friend Hans", which has replaced the youtube video link of the email of a week ago.
