Want TV News? Visit TVOvermind.comProof that LOST is the product of nerds!
I maintain that there are two kinds of Lost fan out there – regular people and nerds. Your average Joe watches unphased when Charlie makes a Hobbit joke or we catch a glimpse of Hurley reading a critically acclaimed comic book (in Spanish) while waiting to board another Island bound airplane. For us nerds however, watching Lost is a different experience entirely.

Disagree. As explications by J. Wood and Docarzt and others reveal, there are many layers to Lost.
The women comparing Hunks Sawyer and Jack are further proof that Lost transcends Nerdhood.
It is silly that any one group gets more out of the based on their particular “peculiar” interests.
“As for the rescue attempt, in “A New Hope” the trick landed our heroes in a trash compactor. On the Island, it got them stuck with Karl. What’s a worse fate? You decide.”

Ouch! Sorry about that.
Handsome Smitty, do you ever have anything positive to say? EVER?
I thought the same thing when Hurley mentioned re-writing e5, but did you consider maybe the reason it is the best is because of Hurley’s re-write?
That’s so great to see them all compiled like that. I did have a “EEEEEE” moment (possibly two) when Charlie and Locke had their LoTR moment, but hadn’t caught all of the less obvious ones.
