I have to admit I am a fan of the original "V" miniseries and the television series. I watched the show when I was very young and it made a huge impression on me. It began my lifelong obsession with sci-fi. I have a feeling this show is going to be worth watching. Whereas the original was labeled cheesy, it was mostly because of lackluster special effects. (We're talking 1983 or so). The story was actually pretty good. I imagine the budget and effects will be much more accommodating this time around. I bring all this up simply to encourage all you Lost fans to give this show a shot. I think it has great potential and it also gives you a reason to watch Elizabeth Mitchell every week.
