Michael Emerson appeared on Jimmy Fallon and revealed some of his magazine illustrations. Not only are they a little bizarre and surreal, but they’re actually quite good! In addition, Fallon coaxed Michael into reading a nursery rhyme.

That’s awesome!!!!
Made my day!
I think that’s the happiest I’ve ever seen Michael Emerson during an interview. Good for Laughin’ Jimmy.
Truely awesome. Idk who made the decission to expand the Benjamin Linus character into a major role, but that guy deserves a raise. Michael Emerson has added so much to what was an already amazing show…
He is the man! =)
What I would like to do is have him read me to sleep every night. I had have the freakin craziest dreams, itd be fantastic
What a burden in life when the thing your really good at is being creepy! That is unless you can use your creepy talents to greatly enhance a kick-ass character like Ben Linus, or to read nursery rhymes!
That was great. Right on the spot. He didnt flinch once while reading the story in creepy Ben Linus mode. Love him!
So Great!
LOL! ME is the best!
1979!?! Is Emerson that old!?!?
Like most really really really good actors, seems a bit pretentious.
Seems so, anyway.
What a talented guy!
Go Emerson! Go character actors!
The bloke nails that role of Ben down to a tee, what great casting to have such a natural role player written into the center of the show
Awesome!
the pumpkin-face illustration is really amazing. very imaginative…
By the way, who greenlighted a Jimmy Fallon talk show?
You should have asked him, you were on his show last night
I don’t think he seems pretentious…from most interviews I have seen of him he seems pretty well-rounded and I think I would rather hang out with someone like him than someone like Evangeline Lilly any day (as good-looking as she may be, her real personality is almost as annoying as her on-screen persona).
That gave me chills.
He’s such a good sport about doing stuff like creepy readings of nursery rhymes.
I hope he’s making a ton of money while on the show so that he has the cushion of financial security when the show ends that allows him to do theater like he wants to.
That was great! Thanks for posting – I miss all these things…
Does anybody know if the whole interview is posted anywhere?
I don’t know if just the interview is posted somewhere, but the entire episode is up on latenightwithjimmyfallon.com
Michael Emerson also did a cameo in their Susan Boyle video telling everyone to go back to the island.
