These guys are obsessed with the multiverse. Perhaps, they are Jacob?
Jacob is Randall Flagg??
Please don’t let Jacob be Randall Flagg!
Good interview. I love Darlton.
I don’t see Jacob as being as evil or as powerful as Randall Flagg. I read The Stand but not The Dark Tower, so I only partially know him. Darlton has mentioned before how influenced they are by The Stand and by a lot of Stephen King’s works. So, there probably is some correlation.
I love reading interviews with these guys and Alex asked great questions, exactly what I wanted to know. I’m just disappointed that they gave non-answers about a couple of things. Mainly Locke’s visits to Walt and Jack – Was it a continuity error or wasn’t it? I guess they either don’t want to admit they made a mistake or don’t want to admit it’s something that will be addressed. But I don’t see how saying, “You’ll find out” or “Jack’s perception was influenced by his own guilt” or something like that would have been a spoiler.
They seem to be getting a little snippy in regards to the endless questions about Libby. I sort of don’t blame them, but i also see how fans could feel a little cheated. Of course all their talk could just be a big front and Libby could pop back up in season 6 and turn out to be Jacob’s mom or something LOL
WOW, IT IS SO NICE TO READ COMMENTS ABOUT THE WRITERS FROM VIEWERS THAT UNDERSTAND THE SHOW AND THE WRITERS INTEGRITY.
I am sorry to yell that but I have been very frustrated reading comments from the same interview over at darks site. Their are over 100 comments and 3/4’s of them say how the writers are lying to them, how they are rude, how they have written themselves into corners, etc,al. It is like every Lost hater grouped up and decided to sh@t on D & C. (i did have a reasonable discussion with Jake)
