I just recently listened to “Dream Police” again today, after hearing it in episode 2 of this season “The Lie”. Alot of the lyrics relate exactly to what’s going on in the show.
Here are the lyrics:
(in bold are the ones I feel directly relate to the show)

What do you guys think? Alot of that is directed at what is happening to Hurley within that episode. Past episodes have had similar songs. I want to hear your opinions, am I going insane, are the dream police inside of my head? What other episodes can you think of that have had similar songs describing goings on in the episode?

Right on point, I totally took note of that song at that time and how it related to Hurley and his mental health…specifically his run in with Ana Lucia of the Dream Police.
Not that it matters, but the photo in the article is of a Norwegian rock band called “Dream Police”. The song “Dream Police”, used in the episode, was written and performed by the band Cheap Trick.
You think that’s wierd: Listen to Mama Cass’s Make Your Own Kind of Music. Its spooky how well it matches Desmond.
