I’d guess at Kelvin Inman and Radzinsky. Per Lostpedia, Darlton said that the Others probably didn’t know about the Swan hatch or at least where it was located, so these two men escaped the Purge. That story would definitely be an interesting one!

From what I’ve read/heard, the Libby thing is out of their control. It has to be something with Cynthia Watros’s contract, or something to that regards. I don’t blame Darlton.

I think we just saw him in “LaFleur” interacting with Sawyer. Someone mentioned that he looked like the guy Hurley got the numbers from in the mental institute. They do look similar but I don’t think they are the same person.

I don’t know if I’d feel extremely angry if Libby’s story was left untold but I would definitely be upset about it. As many others are saying, there are more important things that I want to have answers about but I always found Libby extremely intriguing, seeing as she was sort of a thread that was weaved into multiple different stories. I figured that there was going to be some big reveal as to why she was on the plane in the first place that would have larger significance in the plot. In addition, I always assumed that her last name would contain a significant reveal itself, maybe tying her to some characters we know already, which would be cool. Like I said, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if she was just some random woman who came into contact with these characters but that doesn’t seem like a very Lost-ish explanation to me.

I know that a lot of people think this season has been great, there have been a lot of reveals, but the whole things seems rushed. I agree with Kevin JJ when he says that we aren’t going to get all the answers, because I think Darlton respects the viewers intelligence enough to figure some things out on their own, but if you tell us we’re going to get a persons back story, do it. I cant help but think that Libby was way more revelant when they didn’t know when the story would end versus now, when they have an end date. To me, we’ve gone from one extreme to the other.

Wait… so they’re saying that after waiting since Season 2 that they’re NOT going to tell us the rest of Libby’s story? That sucks! They can’t do that. I don’t care if the casual viewer doesn’t care. At this point most of their audience is hardcore fans anyway. Just put any crucial information in a ‘Previously on Lost’ before the episode and then have a bunch of flashbacks in the episode which ties Libby’s story up. As a fan I want those answers just as much as I want to know what the smoke monster is. In fact, given Libby was one of my favourite characters I want those answers more.

Libby went crazy after her husband died and went to a mental institution. Pretty self explanatory I think.
