Ben is my all time favorite.. I love Ben

Steph Linus.. that sounds so good, if only Oh well, so be it.

I want LOST season 6 to be at 10 p.m. It’s so much better than the kind of LOST we get at 9 p.m.

Theme is about daddy issues.. many of us can relate to that. My dad was about to throw my twin brother and me at age 5 months off a bridge.. he had us in a bulap sack. He was an abusive alcohoic – with that we were trapped in the childhood of hell in muliple foster homes orphanages and institutions. There’s got to be at least 50 LOST related situations that’s identical to my life. I love LOST and I need it.

Wow, Just gave me an insight on maybe thats why Sun didn’t time travel with the others, cause she couldn’t “let it go”. I mean Kate said her goodbyes to Aaron, Jin didn’t want Sun back on the island so he said goodbye, Jack jumped right on that plane, Sayid lost his only reason to be mainland, pretty much everyone….I mean the only person who can’t let it go or the ISLAND doesn’t want her to let it go is because Sun has a life and a daughter to get back to.

I think Sun’s focus on the mainland was revenge for Jin’s death – i mean she did not seem to be that great of a mother (no offense) — something about what she told Kate about how she would watch Aaron seemed off to me. It looked like her mother may have been raising her daughter anyway.

I’m still on the fence about Sun. Yes, if she knew that she would not return, she would be exchanging her daughter for her husband, but she would be leaving her daughter in the loving hands of her grandmother, with more than enough money to grow up secure and happy.

It would have been a rough decision either way.

RZ I agree with you about Jack knowing he was going for good, but I’m not so sure about some of the others, specifically Sun. This has bothered me for a while. Why would she just run off and leave her daughter, even if there is a chance to find Jin? I don’t know. With all due respect to the marital bonds, I think if given an ultimate horrible choice, most mothers would choose their child over their spouse.

The only way this works for me is if Sun somehow thinks she’s going to be able to come back to “the real world.” It’s a minor thing, but it’s hard for me to let it go. Any thoughts?

A “happy” ending is out of the question. These people can’t go back to life as they knew it. When Jack decided to work with Ben to get back to the island, he knew that he was going for good, and I don’t think that any of the 06 who willingly boarded Ajira 316 expected to make a return trip.

We don’t need a happy ending, just one that feels right. If, after the final scene, we can sit back and say, “Well, that’s what Jack had to do,” then we should all be well satisfied. (Is there any doubt that the final scene will involve Jack? And, yes, I know that, no matter the ending, not everyone will be satisfied – and many will likely be upset or angry.)

Yea, but I’d really like the final season to end on a happier note than “Jack and his friends have returned from the Island to live crappy lives” or “hey, John Locke is really dead, never was resurrected, never had a confident boost, he was a hopeless fool all his life that trusted too much and his final days were excrutiatingly depressing” or even “yeah, James, Juliet is dead and you still aren’t having your life back, so don’t cry anymore”…

… I really prefer bittersweet than sad.
