I always thought the Jack & Juliet smooch had the heat of two frozen mackerels being pressed together but it looks like tonight’s episode will be the nail in that particular coffin. The love connection that will never be? I wouldn’t go that far, but from what I’ve learned we will find out that Juliet herself thinks the moments were lacking some passion.
“Something Nice Back Home” is a boon for Jaters. I don’t want to spoil the specifics, but the flash sequences offer fans of that pairing more than they could possibly ask for.
Now, I’m not suggesting the future events alone spell doom for the possibility of a Jack and Juliet romantic link up. No, no, no. There is an on island conversation between Juliet and Kate that reveals, in my mind, that Juliet herself knows where Jack’s heart is… whether the cranky doc will admit it or not.

I’m not a shipper by any means, but I think the Jacket and Skater pairings make the most sense. The two doctors and the two outlaws. They should drop the whole love polygons and move on.
So what does this say for the possibilities of a Juliet-Sun-Jin hook-up?

I disagree. I think Jack’s all wrong for Juliet. Mind you, I think it also made perfect sense for them to sorta kinda hook-up, but both of them being doctors isn’t enough to make it last. For that matter, Kate & Sawyer have a number of issues between them. As do Kate & Jack. Point being, all of the relationships are fraught with obstacles that still need to be overcome.
Though I’m with you ’bout putting less focus on the central polygon.
Personal ‘shipping preference: Sawyer hooks up with Hurley.
I was afraid the next episode was about the Jack/Kate/Juliet triangle, and now, I suppose I was right.
Tell me at least that the action from the jungle (Lapidus, Sawyer, Miles, Keamy stuff) is going to make up it.
Or have I got to skip it and go straight to the Locke episode!
why do people think you have to have so much in common(like jobs?!) to be attracted to each other or make it wrk?! thats the worst bull reason i have ever heard.
I don ‘t think the Jack/Juliet pairing is about their chosen professions. I think it’s more that they both have tried and failed at being perfect, and that Juliet can see the way Jack has been manipulated by Ben and the Island and both respects his attempts to fight that in ways that she was afraid to do and fears that he may ultimately fail in those attempts. It’s a bittersweet story. Which is more often like real life than the other two pairings
IMO Jack and Kate is the couple that makes most sense after everything happened. I like Sawyer but seriously I don’t root for him to be loved. He spent his life making people to trust and love him and then con them. There should be a price for his past. He will find redemption by facing himself not love. Not that I’m waiting a happy ending for Kate and Jack either but I want Jack to feel loved because ı don’t think he never felt loved enough by anyone. Kate, well I don’t find Kate an important character in Lost world and I don’t want happiness for her.. But IMO she’s in love with Jack.
I still think that when Jack kissed Juliet at the end of The Other Woman it was more of a comfort thing than anything else. I never saw it as romantic.

It’s hard for the shipping to seem relevant with everything else going on in the story right now… but none the less, I predict people will be talking about this heavily.

You think people will be talking about it heavily? Considering that a sneak peak for Shape of Things to Come that showed Kate and Jack discussing his gas pains generated something like 400 comments on another site… I predict you are correct!!!!

They’re spending an entire freaking episode on this crap instead of the 12 other storylines they dropped because of the shortened season? Is this a joke? Appendicitis and Kate whimpering over Jack?
Are the producers gonna get all bitter and whiny again about our complaining?
I really like the actress (evangeline) but she looks as bored being Kate as I feel watching her being Kate.

Kristina: I would say things looked bad for Skaters when they revealed that Sawyer did not get off the island. That said, here is an additional nugget: Sawyer is a ‘presence’ in this Jater centric episode even if we don’t see him in the flash.
Guys I’ve seen this episode already and can guaruntee that the pair that get together is not Jacket, Jate, Skate, or Sawyet…. its Jawyer! We knew from the beginning that this undeniable chemistry was there. Finally we shall see the truth behind Jack’s hate of women, and Sawyer’s hate of Jack. Its just a cover for their love for each other. Finally Jawyer will come into being.

Kinda makes me think that Kate/Jack and the rest of O6 believe that Sawyer and the others are dead.
Super secret filming is just somebody’s guesswork. It didn’t happen.
Really, I’ve been hearing that Josh is going to be a big part of the finale…also that Josh/evi did filming together

Tell me it’s Widmore, please! (even if what I would really like to see is a flashforward of Locke and Sawyer on the island, but it’s unlikely)
So, i don’t want details just one thing, if you could tell me please. Is this episode gonna be good for Jate? And i don’t mean if they’re getting scenes and smooches etc. Does this episode end with them being good with each other or does it end badly for jaters and open for skaters? It’s cool if you can’t answer

All i’ll say is that i liked what i read (coz i didn’t actuallly see the episode).
I saw the episode…you will get some good jate scenes, not going to doubt that…but the way Jack yells at Kate and yells that She is not aaron’s mother, with aaron walking into the room…it was not good.
