Could the Lair be where Ben went after the death of Alex when he called upon it? I am guessing it is connected to it somehow. I hope we get more insite to Smokey. One of the coolest things on the Island.

Wow, I really did not expect to see Smokey’s lair this year, if this is true. I’d imagine that this is the “Is this the thing?” that Jorge referred to recently. What could be cooler than that? Also, I think his comment that Smokey is as old as the island is his own speculation. Darlton have said that the monster’s origins won’t be covered until season 6.

if Daniel is saying this, then he must have filmed scenes involving this lair. Perhaps tonight we will see Jin accompany Danielle’s Posy into the Dark Territory where they will come across Smokey’s lair! O_o

I thought Darlton said that the smoke monster mystery would be saved for season 6?

Anyway, I can’t wait to find out what it is. My best guess thus far is that it’s some kind of entity which has either escaped from a tear in the fabric of space-time… or guards it.
