They probably meet by accident. Somehow I more and more get the feeling that the season will be completely split between the reality where the nuke worked to alter the time, and the one where it didn't. At the end it will be for us to decide what has really happened. Might be a way to satisfy everyone. I doubt they would go for interwoven timelines, having already said that the time-travel season was too complicated. Well, Hurley is technically Locke’s boss, isn’t he?
