Seems Daniel Dae Kim is a bit loose lipped about the fate of Jin on LOST, especially when it comes to the question of a Sun/Jin Reunion. Will the two be getting back together anytime soon? Read on, but beware of LOST Spoilers. (Oh and for those who don’t get it… the title is what he comments on, not what happens.)

…and don’t expect a simple husband-wife reunion either. With most of Season 5 already shot, apparently Kim hasn’t been in a single scene with his on-screen Korean wife, Sun (played by Sun-Hwa Kwon).
“I can’t imagine it not happening,” Kim tattles.
“I hope they don’t have us meet until maybe next season.”
Of course, what a lot of us want to know is just how many scenes Jin himself is in. For that we’ll just have to wait for the LOST season 5 premiere.

hey clown, how about you leave the spoilers OUT OF THE HEADLINE so those of us who don’t want to be spoiled don’t see it in our RSS feed readers.
Well, CLOWN, I guess you didn’t read the article then, since Kim says there is no reunion yet. Therefore, there is no spoiler in the headline. Now what? Accuse doc of misleading headlines?
mike, to be fair, the headline is not a spoiler. The headline says that the piece includes Daniel Dae Kim’s comment on a reunion, not whether it will or will not happen. Even the post doesn’t say anything about it in a definitive way.
What, do I amuse you? Do I make you laugh? Just kidding. Uh, there is no spoiler in the headline.

WTF. Can you even read? Kim says they didn’t get back together yet. So there is no reunion. That is the spoiler. And it isn’t in the title. Wow. Hopefully you are one of the readers that goes away, dumbass.
I think you guys are being incredibly melodramatic about this. The title does not say that the reunion is happening, just that DDK is commenting on it. Remember, when you Assume, you make an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me’. (get it, ass+u+me? Just trying my clown shoes here… ). I guess the real question is, who doesn’t think this reunion is going to happen? Who doesn’t think the o6 will return to the island? These are the sort of ‘known quantities’ of season 5. But even if you don’t think it’s a positive, the title isn’t a spoiler, it just says he is speaking on that topic. But I’ll add “possibility” just for the heck of it. What is really funny, though, is that both of the people who complained came into the full text article to do it. You wouldn’t have known what he had to say about the topic if you hadn’t entered the article. Relax people.

Nothing wrong with a litte literary freedom to entice someone to open the page/link. Without that, not many pages would be viewed on the site, and not as much ad revenue would be generated to keep this site afloat….so everyone who was critical of the headline….rethink your genius.

I think it was a tactful way of vocalizing an opinion. I could of said something like “wow, this site sucks compaired to last year”
Ahhh….. lol. Okay, so I would counter that with this: “When is nothing something?” Actually, by saying that the reunion has not happened yet, that they are almost done shooting season 5, and that he wouldn’t mind it happening next year… I think he revealed plenty. You have to read between the lines… but, the lines are pretty far apart… and the subtext is almost bigger than the text….
For starters, maybe some of these whiners should just do their own blogs and see how much fun they think that is.
Secondly, I find this very interesting. They don’t have scenes this year but maybe next season? How? Flashbacks? Flashforward? Maybe since the island wouldn’t let Michael kill himself until he completed the task of blowing up the ship, the island also wouldn’t allow Jin to die? Or perhaps with the time/space/location hop of the island he’s back on the island? Tantalizing bit of info to ponder over the next year of new episodes.
The title *is* misleading because it starts out with “LOST SPOILER” but then you say it is spoiler free – sounds like you are trying to get visitors to read the article.
It is a spoiler. It reveals that up until now in filming, there have been no Jin/Sun scenes, which further reveals that Jin is probably not in the same timeline as the others, or that Sun does not return… It would make perfect sense for one of them not to make it back though… that will make sense when you see the episodes…
It *is* a spoiler because it reveals that the two have not worked together. That is confirmation of something we won’t see, a sun and jin reunion. Any knowledge of future events is a spoiler.
It is also a spoiler because by Kim saying he hopes there is a reunion, he reveals that he is still alive.
Not necessarily alive, just on the show. It would appear you don’t need to be alive to be reunited (Claire & Christian).

I feel like Doc attracts more hate than any other blogger I’ve seen.
The article warns you that spoilers are contained within. However, these spoilers are not revealed in the title. The title merely says that some one is commenting on something. If I were to post an article that says “Matthew Fox comments on the possibility of Jack being Jacob”…guess what…that doesn’t say that Jack is Jacob. All it says it that some one is offering their opinion on something.
Chill out people.

I would like to start off by saying I read this site a great deal and this is the first time I have been drawn to post something. This is a free site created by a lost fan for lost fans. If you think the site is crap then go somewhere else or get off your butt and create your own. I appreciate every bit of information no matter how small. It helps ease the anxiousness of waiting for the season to start. It blows my mind that people will complain and belittle a site and an individual that is providing a free forum for people that share the same joy in watching lost.

I would like to reiterate what Vital10 syas! Docarzt is a Godsend! This site is a wonderful distraction for me over in Afghanistan. There was nothing wrong with the title, or the content. As the good Doc(arzt) said, “who doesn’t believe that Sun & Jin are getting back together?!” Come on people?! If you clicked on the link to read the content of the article, it means you were looking to read the content of the article! No take backs! Thanks to DOCARZT for this wonderful site!
I hope they DON’T get together, I’ve hated them since the start. Jin got cool toward the end of season 1, by him self.

It’s pretty much been known for months now that Jin will be around for season 5. And if you wanted to avoid any spoilers regarding the fate of Jin, you should’ve avoided anything with his name in it. For all you know, this article could have read “DDK knows he won’t be around for season 5, but is commenting on whether or not he’ll ever be back for a reunion with Sun.”
Listen all you cry babies. Every time you visit this site and other fan sites you run the risk of hitting a spoiler. It’s not 100% avoidable and the nature of this site and other Web 2.0 type of sites. If you don’t want to be spoiled (and I contend that crying, complaining, and the whining you’re doing demonstrates just how spoiled you are) then get off of the site, and the Internet for that matter, because you take up too much bandwidth with your crying.
I think most lost fans by now would have assumed Jin is still alive, I mean who really thought he died on the freighter, I’d be more surprised if he was actually dead…. or Miles’s father
Or, due to the potential teasing of time travel in the season 4 finale…what if…he’s Sun’s father? Because of the explosion, he now has a funny scowl on his face at all times. That’s why Mr. Paik is so critical of Jin…because they’re the same person!

All I’m going to say about the people who are complaining, because really, that’s the only thing I found worth commenting on (appreciate the minor “spoiler” though), you need to take a linguistics course or something. Or at the very least learn how to STOP. PROCESS. RESPOND. DeFunk, if you made it to this site to post a comment you’ve not avoided anything but an education. Based on the title alone, with out any other possible information (because I too have “avoided” spoiler – wink, wink) the “possiblity of a reunion” could be 0%. Why? He might be dead. I don’t know. I’ve avoided all fan sites since the end of Season 4 (*rolls eyes*).
And finally – I think Doc gets the brunt of the “whinies” because we all see him as one of us. Just another fan who wrote about his passion. You don’t complain to the clerks about Blockbuster or the managers at McDonalds because it’s pointless. Their corporations are too big to care. That’s the darkside of being one of the little guys. You have to put up with “little” people.

There is no point having a spoiler section on a site if there is not only a title that contains a spoiler but also most the spoiler story on the homepage (have a look educated people)
What is so hard to understand about ‘us whiners’ being pissed off?
I come to such sites to listen to podcasts (non spoiler parts) read theories and just like to read other peoples ideas on the show. I try my hardest to fill the hiatus with a little bit of lost fiction and try VERY hard not to read spoilers.
Apparently i am in the wrong for being pissed off when the HOMEPAGE! contains them!!!!

The only people that see nothing wrong with spoilers IMO of this type being posted so obviously on the main page don’t get it because they READ spoilers and see nothing in it as they are already very spoiled. Try seeing it from a NON spoiled persons point of view and you might get a clue!
I’m certain everyone that thinks there is nothing wrong with the post knows almost all of what has been filmed to date, most the plot and much more besides. Not really suprising you don’t see the point.

Wow, look. The question of whether or not there will be a reunion exists before my title. We all know there is a question of that. The fact that daniel dae kim commented on it reveals NOTHING. What he says does, but that isn’t in the title.
So, first of all… I believe most of the bitching is fabricated. People trying to create a controversy because they don’t like this site. That won’t work, because it defies such basic logic in this case that you would have to be Hurley’s green bird to think that it makes sense.

I think it is sad and depressing that so many people whine about spoilers. I understand some people don’t want to know everything that will happen. But complaining about the headline of an article is stupid. Didn’t you whiners see the word POSSIBILITY? It doesn’t say that it will happen. Even if it did, grab some 15 year old crackers from under a rock, and get over it! Commercials show more “spoilers” than that!
I hope Jin jumps off the freighter or the island won’t let him die yet, and Faraday picks him up on the way back to the island in the zodiac. Besides, Jin has experience with that sort of thing. He survived when the Others blew up the raft and ended up back at the island where the Tail Section found him. But I wonder if they would have been moved with the island…
ENOUGH!!!! Let’s move on…13 days and counting.
