I don't believe Cusic. Desmond is special - and will have a role in the final season's outcome. perhaps if timelines split - he will have the capacity to coexist with full knowledge of what is going on in both. I still think he will see Claire get on a helicopter, perhaps after the war.

A. The name LOST has always worked on so many levels, and the more we learn about the final season, the more the show is living up to its awesome name: the character's lives, their hearts, their very souls...LOST. And, pulling every trick in the book, and then some, the writers have left the viewers quite LOST as well. This took some getting used to, but the show has made me much more content to enjoy what we're given, and THINK about it, than it would if it obsessively wrapped up every mind-bending mystery.

B. Thank God Desmond is coming back in any capacity! I was so worried that he had molested that lady and the show was going to absolutely distance itself from him. Especially with Sonya Walger being so busy.

I need to know what Desmond did to get locked in that nice lady's prison. Something dishonorable, for sure, but it too must have something to do with the story. He must get back his honor.

Asinine comment above (paul). I am far from being on for just the ride. If they were to answer every mystery it would totally devoid Lost of any life whatsoever. The greatest thing about Lost is it challenges the viewer to THINK. Yeah, that thing rolling around on your shoulders. Use it and Lost just may hold up through the years to repeat viewing.

Thank FU***** god Damon and Carlton won't pander to viewers that need everything explained.

I disagree, as long as they answer and tie up the major loose ends I'll be happy. I know they won't be able to get to anything, and when they don't, at least we'll actually be able to speculate and theorize about something after the show ends instead of being handed all of the answers.

I think he's totally right. With so many unanswered questions and plot threads left hanging going into this season, there's no way they are going to be able to tie them all up. We are all going to be disappointed, some more so than others. The only people who are going to be satisfied are those who where just "in it for the ride" rather than answering the mysteries. And those of us who care about the mysteries, well we'll be left speculating about them and posting theories about them until the end of time.
