I feel really stupid trying to discuss theory when you all are just really interested in rating the women. Yes, BUT what if there is ANOTHER child with an outsider? I would consider that Hawking is her mom. Either way, Penny knows about island lore. How did Penny know to look for Electromagnetic anomaly and how did she already know about the island when she was on the phone with Desmond in “The Constant”? LOSTPedia points out that Penny is an important person in each Season Finale for 2, 3 and 4. She may be that big “Sixth Sense” (as someone else wrote on one of these blogs) clue right in front of our eyes the whole time.

First, of all… there isn’t a frozen donkey wheels chance in hell that Eloise is Penny’s mother. Not quite sure what would have given you that idea… recall, last ep, when Ben said Charles had a child with an outsider?? Well, that child is Penny, and Eloise most certainly is not an outsider…

Second, if eloise was penny’s mother… that would be really gross… as it is painfully obvious that Ellie and Charles are brother and sister, not lovers… IMO
