Hmmmm…. Miles is holding a shotgun??? & Why does Kate look like she got her shirt all burned up in the dryer?

I excited to see what happened to Aaron!

  2. hyperRevue says:

It would seem Ben somehow manages to get back to the 70s with the rest of the 06.

    • Alexb says:

It’ll be young Ben rather than old. Jack clearly not wanting to help the villain to be, whilst Kate sees it as aiding a child.

      • hyperRevue says:

        Right. Good call.

      • Henry Holland says:

I was immediately reminded of this exchange:

JACK: Is that what you call asking me to kill Ben while on the operating table? Make it look like an accident?
        JULIET: [to Tom] That’s ridiculous.
JACK: She wants Ben to die. She said if I did it that she would protect me.
JULIET: Tom! He’s lying! I don’t know what you’re trying to do, Jack, but…
        TOM: ENOUGH! Juliet, get out.
        JULIET: Tom, he’s lying!
TOM: You said you can’t stitch him up — then you don’t need to be in here. Go Julie.
JULIET: Don’t let him fool you. He’ll never let a patient just die.

anyone notice what kind of Dharma logo does Hurley have??? I think it has a crown…

  4. Bookhouse Boy says:

Stay away Aaron, stay away. Please send Kate off the island with Aaron where they both will never be seen from again.

Is this the order of upcoming episodes?
    Namaste
    He’s Our You
    Whatever Happened, Happened

When will we see Locke again?
I want to see the 1950’s again!

  6. dtruth says:

This is the episode I am looking forward to the most. I can not wait. I hope Namaste and He’s our you are very good because I haven’t stopped thinking about 5.11 so it will be good to get something else to think about.

  7. horselover says:

Sounds like whatever happened requires extreme measures to prevent it from not happening. So at least potentially it could not happen. But I’m guessing the consequences of something changing go beyond “bad guy doesn’t grow up to kidnap or kill a lot of people like he would have,” since that would seem kinda nice. Perhaps some paradox that could disrupt the space-time continuum I foresee.

    • Andy W. says:

      I’m sorry, but….um, what?

      • horselover says:

Sorry, I made that needlessly complicated. I’ll try again.

“Whatever happened, happened” is what Daniel always says, meaning it is impossible to change the past. But if Kate is going to extreme measures to save Ben (I’m assuming young Ben in Dharma times, maybe I should have said that), then there must be some danger that he could die. That means Daniel’s rule isn’t exactly right.
Also, given all the bad stuff Ben has done, you would think Kate would be glad he was dying. Her saving him makes me think there is some consequence beyond just his death. Kind of like in Back to the Future, if you create a contradiction (young Ben dies but old Ben is still alive) the universe ends. Something like that.

        • hyperRevue says:

But if Kate ends up saving young Ben from some potentially-fatal incident, then that means she always saved him. Just like Sawyer always saved what’s-her-name from the Hostiles.

          • horselover says:

True, probably. I agree for everything like Jinn meeting Danielle, the Hostile/Flashie encounters and Sawyer saving Amy. The only difference is that before Kate acts she knows that Ben is alive in 2009 (or whenever present Lost time is), which I think is significant.

When people know what they are supposed to do, like when Daniel knows he is destined to warn Charlotte, they can intentionally do otherwise. Like if I knew the future I could correctly predict if you’d think of an even or odd number every time as long as I kept it secret, but if I told you before hand it’d be even, you’d just pick an odd to prove me wrong.

Assuming Kate knows the “whatever happened” rule, she could ignore the threat to Ben and he would still survive if the rule held true, but for some reason she decides she has to act.

    Juliet looks so dam hot!
