Missed the voting, but I said I’d chime in once we were really at the half-way mark.

4. Best Emotional Moment: Ben’s tearful explanation to Ilana (Dr. Linus)
5. Biggest WTF Moment: Other – Claire’s reappearance (ignoring the fact that I knew she was coming back)
6. Best Character Story: Hurley following the advice of Dead Jacob
7. Worst Character Story: Sun searching for Jin

just to clarify: sideways Ben in Dr. Linus is the best character story; evil sayid is runner up.

worst character story: kate’s fugitive run to LA was implausible, contrived, hackneyed, and not up to Lost standards.

also the underwater island flyover gets a solid runner-up in the WTF category.

(I fully believe, even with Ben, Locke and Sawyer having great character arcs, ultimately Jack will be the one to embody what the writers are trying to say with the series. When all’s said and done, Ben, Locke, et al will be tools – albeit useful, entertaining tools – used to support the story that Jack embodies in his relationship to the island, to Jacob, his father and himself.
7. Jin searching for Sun/Sun searching for Jin (tie)
(this may turn into something wonderful, but until now it’s really a non-arc)
