Kristen from EONLINE is hoping to give all you shippers out there some answers.
The latest installment from entertainment’s resident spoiler queen gives us some insight into what to expect from relationships formed and forming. Here is a rundown of what we should expect and :
1- APPARENTLY IT IS DOUBTFUL WE WILL SEE A JACK/KATE REUNION THIS SEASON
2- WE WON’T BE SEEING A JACK AND JULIET REUNION EITHER
3- WE MAY SEE SOME LONGING LOOKS BETWEEN KATE AND SAWYER BUT WE WON’T BE SEEING ANY TRYSTS
4- JULIET AND SAWYER WILL REMAIN A COUPLE AND WE WILL BE APPARENTLY BE SEEING A LOT MORE OF THIS
5- THE WEDDING WHICH WE HAVE HEARD IS TAKING PLACE IS SUPPOSEDLY GOING TO BE A FLASHBACK TO THE WEDDING OF JIN AND SUN, WHO WON’T BE REUNITING UNTIL CLOSER TO THE FINALE

i believe it….the rumors that it is Aaron and Ji-Yeon are the most ridiculous rumors I have ever heard.
But I still wouldn’t be surprised if Aaron and Ji-Yeon show up this season or next as adults.
yea it is def not out of the realm of possibility. i have no idea why ppl think just because they are island related babies they will eventually be a couple lol, but with flashforwards still being a distinct possibility there is no reason we won’t see them

ABC and the producers just announced LOST CONTINUUM for the 2010-11 television season. The producers hinted that along with the babies of Lost we will see Hurley playing an Old Ben Kenobi-type character, serving as a guide to reunite the children of Lost with the mysterious Island. The announcement also hinted we might expect to see a grown Walt as a Ben-type character.

3- As long as there’s hints and lots of screentime together I’m good. Kate needs a break from the menfolk anyway.
4- More Mr. and Mrs. Schmoopypants. Joy.

And BTW that photo you used cracks me up. XD
I like “Mr. and Mrs. Schmoopypants”. Mr. and Mrs. Smug would work well too, though. I couldn’t put my finger on what I didn’t like about Juliet and Sawyer together, but I’ve figured it out – They’re one of those couples that act really self-satisfied with their domestic bliss, thereby becoming more annoying and smug in regular life. But since there’s a current of insecurity running through their relationship it only exacerbates the smugness projected to others.
Of course, I’m probably reading WAAAAAAAAAY to much into this, since it’s a television show and the product of writers and actors, but – I don’t think Sawyer would act like such a jerk if he and Kate were finally together. Kate, when she’s not being fickle and crazy, lends Sawyer a softness and compassion that would have found expression in something better than becoming part of “the damn Dharma Initiative.”
I hope they break those two up sooner rather than later.
Haha, Seabiscuit. Totally agree with you and Jennifer on this. I am bored already. I was bored the minute I saw Sawyer pick a plant but I was ready to roll with it hoping they would have cut it off by now but if they are telling me that I have to load up on my Glucophage and Daonil tablets because the outbreak of diabetes is gonna last a wee longer, then who is perpetually brain farting in the writers conference at the Lost office?. Nobody is saying throw Sawyer and Kate into each others arms straight away(though it would not hurt the ratings let me tell ya) but we can live without the soporific Sawyer and Juliet as well. Just stick to numbers and monsters till you are all happy that you have kept the OTP apart long enough, then crank it up because by then the world at large will be desperate for some of the chemistry we got in previous seasons between Sawyer and Kate.

Actually, I think Kate should be drawn-and-quartered.
I would be happy to see Kate and Juliet mud wrestle for the rest of the season…or at least a spin off series. Throw in Rebecca and have the Girls of Lost mud wrestling….instant ratings hit.

Of course. They like to drag everything out as long as possible. The longing looks between Sawyer and Kate at least give me hope for the endgame, however. Which is exactly what the writers want. Sigh. So easily manipulated.
Thank you Kristen! Sawyer and Juliet are good for each other and happy I might add. Kate is really there for Aaron.
I actually like the pairing of Sawyer and Juliet. It brings wrinkles to their characters that were unexpected. This is typical LOST, though. They create a stereotype and turn it on its ear. Sawyer and Juliet are the “happy domestic couple.” After all, Juliet makes Sawyer food and dotes on him like a loving wife. But, as with all of LOST’s relationships, there’s a twist coming that we won’t see.
Sometimes I get frustrated with all the “shippers” out there focused on being frustrated with the relationships in the story. Personally, I like the different variations on the romantic relationships in the story. Creating a love-quadrangle was yet another example of LOST’s ability to break the mold. We seldom see something so daring in most romances.
It is not unexpected Ambivalentman!! It is in fact sterotypical cliche gobbledygook that makes up the Sawyer and Juliet relationship.
Its called SETTLING for a cliche, and it NEVER WORKS.
Every time I see them together I throw up a little in my mouth and as much as I love the show and as deep as I am in the mythology and as many hours as I spend online reading about theories and physics and Bentham, if the Sawyer and Juliet thing had happened earlier in the show, I probably would have stopped watching. Its exactly the kind of cliche that the Lost boys should be WELL above.
Well, to the contrary the cliche lays in the fraking traingle. Kill kate off and be done with it.
