We got different actors for younger Widmore and Hawkins (last time they were just listed as “young”). I’d assume that means they are both still on island in ‘77.

no one’s mentioned anything about penny being on a couple of these listings. Is she still alive or are they sometype of flashbacks/flashforwards.
I’ve thought for awhile that Ben’s errand might have nothing to do with Penny. Or, if it did, it went horribly awry.
penny is still alive. it would take way more that an effort to kill charles widmore´s daughter…
besides, everyone is saying ben killed her because of the scene at the marino in la where he´s full of blood. but, remember, that doesn´t mean anything. we should ask ourselves how did desmond and penny manage to go, on a sailboat, from oxford to LA in such short period of time???? they would have to go through the entire world to do that!

Yeah, I never got why people automatically assumed “bloody Ben at payphone = he slaughtered Penny”. When Ben says to Jack “Um, there’s been a change of plans”, I took that to mean “I got my ass kicked AGAIN”.
i’m getting the impression that the story is heading in the direction that all of the main characters were on the island previously, as children.

I can see that for DHARMA people like Ben, Miles, Charlotte, Daniel and Ethan and so on but the Oceanic 815 people? I’ve seen nothing so far that would lead me to think that, as children, the 815ers were on Island. I mean, James had to be in Jasper, Alabama hiding under the bed while his dad shot his mom/killed himself, right? Am I missing something?
The only one missing from these lists is Jin. Did I miss something??? is he the one leaving??

It says that in episode 12 Ben summons to judge him. And in episode 13 Ben is in the infirmary… see where i’m going with this?

If Ben summons the smoke monster to be judged, and then in episode 13 is in the infirmary and not dead, does this mean he is good??? and his intentions for the island were for the good???
I believe smokey is the islands karma police, and since it does not kill Ben then we are going to see if Ben is good, making Widmore the bad guy???
BTW, why does Ben summon Smokey anyway? Is someone forcing him, of is this just a test of some sort to regain leadership of the Hostiles?
I think that Richard has something to do with this.
I think he makes the decision on his own.
