WHAT’S TO COME
Lost is moving again—going back even further into the past to explore a terrible incident that changed the course of the Island (and its people) forever. When Lost returns in two weeks, the charming and talented young actor Sterling Beaumon (the kid’s 14 and he’s recording an album) reprises his role as “young Ben” for what will be a four-episode character arc.
Sterling tells us exclusively that the story is “very major, and it’s going to change Ben forever.” Sterling, as per usual for Lost castmembers, is sworn to secrecy about exactly what happens but he says this very major thing “involves himself and yes, it is a trauma…Before the change Ben’s a nice, good kid…and then one second will change his life forever.”
According to Sterling, over the course of this arc, “Ben will [come to] know everything about every little bit about the Island. We’re not going to learn more about the past with Dharma, we’re going to learn more about the past of the Island.” Say it with me people: Holler!

I hope little Ben meets the smoke monster and discovers the temple. Maybe Ben IS the smoke monster! When he went down in that secret room (when the freighter bad guys were coming to the compound), the smoke monster came out! AAAHHH, Ben the smoke monster!

wowzers…first some solid information about the statue and now THIS?? God bless having an end date.
Can I just say that, spoiler-proof as you are making the site these days [much appreciated!], having the statue in the masthead at the top of the page is a bit of a reveal for international viewers who haven’t seen La Fleurs, yet.

So what was that that changed Ben in 1 second? He lost a friend? A rabbit? He saw a ghost?
I don’t think this article was very “Spoilerish”.
I have ALWAYS wondered how Ben knew EVERYTHING about the Island. Who TOLD HIM about the Frozen Donkey Wheel, how to blow a hole in the back of the Orchid time chamber, how to “summon” the smoke monster, how he KNOWS the O6 need to come back, how he knows JACOB??!! There are MANY, MANY, more details about Ben’s knowledge of the Island that we haven’t asked yet.
HOW THE HELL DOES THIS CREEP KNOW ALL THIS STUFF?
I’m GLAD we’ll get some kind of an answer to these questions when one of my FAVORITE characters FINALLY gets some backstory revealed!!
