Hume... I absolutely agree that your scenario is plausible, but I can't see those guys doing it. WGA members are barred from working on their shows during the strike, the sudden revelation that writers were secretly working on their shows would severely weaken the WGA and could potentially unravel an 'incomplete' deal. But, if you are watching the updates you know the question is moot anyways because, as it turns out, this was not LOST. :(

Doc, Even though they weren't officially allowed to write scripts during the strike, no one could possibly police the writers thoughts (storylines, notes, quick ideas jotted down, etc) enough to keep them from developing the second half of the season quickly, could they? I mean, they have 3 1/2 seasons of info to work with. I think that besides minor details and the specific dialogue of the scenes, that most of these last 8 episodes could write themselves. By the time they got done filming the first few they would definetly be finished w/ the rest. The filming is what could delay half of the season. Not to mention, I think that all the writers will be so happy w/ the deal and just the fact that they're back at work after letting all these great ideas marinate over the strike that we will be getting some GREAT stuff after they come back. Thanks DOC
