lilly1Evangeline Lilly alias Kate on Lost (TF1 my french channel) spent the end of the year with Dominic Monaghan, her boyfriend since 5 years. Both have chosen to go in Switzerland to finally have “a white christmas” told E. During lost break, the actress will do anyways the promotion of her first movie in theatre “Afterwards” (on cinema in france, January 17th) where she plays with Romain Duris.
January21th, american viewers will discover lost season 5. Kate became very different: she have been “saved” from the island and she became mother, told us Evangeline. “For this 5th season, I want to say to viewers to be very patient because the first part of the season5 is complicated. It’s again a puzzle where you’ll learn about characters by small parts to small parts. In the second part of the season 5, your patience will be rewarded. Take in note that the January 7th, TF6 (another french channel but private) will air the complete 4 seasons of lost every wednesdays at 8:45pm.

I read that whole thing out loud with a ridiculous french accent.

I hope we don’t have to be as patient as we were with the start of Season 3…

She is taunting us a second time!

It might just be me but…hasn’t LOST allllwayss been a show you’ve had to be patient with?? Ever since the beginning we were always dealing with more questions than answers..so this idea of waiting and being patient, whether its having to do with the characters or the mythology isn’t something thats really new to us..so no surprise here haha.

In my opinion, there are two types of patience when it comes to this show. There’s your typical “All questions, no answers” patience, and then there’s another level. The second level can best be described by watching the first couple episodes of season 3. This was the time in which Lost really…lost…a lot of viewers. The first 6 episodes primarily focused on just a few of the huge cast, and really didn’t offer much to the fans. Yet then, by the end of the season, there were people looking back and talking about how it was the best ever. I just hope season 5 isn’t like that. I want the same consistancy as seasons 1, 2, and 4.

For those of us that read french is it possible to get an un-bable-fished french. I’d be interested to see what she said in the original to see if I could get more out of it…

  6. Charlie's Ghost says:

I think I’d rather hear the review in the person’s native language….and I don’t even speak French. How about we do a triple asterick when there is a bad translation, like the astericks that mark spoilers?

  7. Arinen says:

can’t wait for january 21th when we see ze people ‘oo ‘ave been saved and became very different. Zis viewer doesn’t want to be very patient and wants to work on ze puzzle again, even if eet is in small parts to small parts.

    hahaha.

  8. Arinen says:

Damn, now me grammar have been destroyed for all ever.
At least me speeling have not been affekt… aww, hell.
