This is kind of late, but here goes anyway: Lyly is French, and ironically has a better grasp of the English language than a lot of Americans whose comments/statements/posts that I come across on various websites across the net ( including myself at times ). Bottom line is, we all get the gist of what she’s trying to get across. I, for one, applaud her efforts and am grateful for her input. Plus I think it’s kind of cute:)

Why are you calling for someone to be banned, neoloki? Censorship is never a good answer. It’s a terrible precedent, and in any case, it certainly wouldn’t be justified in this case. Just because someone asks that a writer proof their work before posting it doesn’t mean that person should be banned. Sheesh.

Lyly, I’m dying because I’m coming to Paris tomorrow, but I’m leaving Saturday morning! I was looking on the site to see if any of those cool LOST in Paris posters were for sale, but didn’t see that they were. Do you know if the theater will be selling them? (I’ll be around Friday night but grrrrrr…. no chance to see Darlton!!!)

Amen, Proofer. I second that.

That’s not to say every post should be written in perfect AP stylebook format, but let’s at least clean it up a bit. I believe Lyly is French, which could explain some of her grammatic errors, but that doesn’t mean someone at the site couldn’t proofread her posts and clean them up a bit. The more professional the site appears, the more credible it becomes. Don’t give the “haters” anything to grab on to, you know?

Jesus Christ guys, lay off. She’s French and doesn’t have a great command of the English language. She’s just as passionate about the show as any other fan and sometimes she has good scoops, so just take a friggin chill pill.

I do wish Lyly Ford’s articles would be copy-edited before being posted. There’s never any sense of grammar, punctuation or capitalization. It’s like reading a blog by e.e.cummings. Journalism, people–it does have rules.
