I am glad for commenting to let you know what a beneficial experience my friend's girl developed reading your web site. She realized so many details, which include how it is like to have an amazing teaching heart to have the mediocre ones clearly completely grasp several problematic subject areas. You undoubtedly did more than people's desires. I appreciate you for producing these helpful, safe, edifying and even unique tips on this topic to Emily.

Although I agree with the whole "universe arranging to challenge you" thing because of personal beliefs (and not because of an objective analysis), it seems to me that archetypes are something far too simplifying to be applied to real life. Mythology emerged for various important reasons, one of them being a better comprehension of the general world (including us) and how it functions through the process of imaginative vulgarisation. Even if archetypes participated in the foundation of psychoanalysis and psychology, they are only representations of us, nothing more. My point is: aren't we too complex to be contained in one hypothesis (the archetype)? Aren't you taking a quick and easy shortcut?

Anyways, I guess this is not a very Lost-centric message, so I'll just talk about this: "Perhaps it is because of Sayid’s culture, which does not respect women to the level that they could compete with a man."

I think we call that a STEREOTYPE. What makes you suggest that Sayid does not consider women as his equal? I can't think of any proof during the whole five seasons (but maybe I'm wrong) that his homeland culture influenced him that way. Isn't Shannon a sufficient example of Sayid's respect towards women?

Sorry for my potential English mistakes, it's not my first language.

I've noticed this happening for year, especially since I started working in an office. Someone quits or gets fired, and several months later their bizarro version is hired.
