Okay folks, Watch With Kristin’s Tater Tops awards are in full swing and we are doing pretty good, BUT we are LOSING to HOUSE! Let’s turn the tide folks, bring your LOST love and vote right here:
Vote for LOST – Best Drama On TV
I have to admit, I never knew that the HOUSE fandom was so much bigger than us and – apparently – has it’s act together so well. Are you going to take this laying down? Vote and prod your LOST loving friends to vote, and don’t forget to tell them to tell their friends to vote… and so on.

I voted for Lost, which is absolutely my favorite show, but I never understand the animosity House gets from some people. It’s a terrific show, and always manages to bounce back from slumps and deliver big time. Hell, if The Incident wasn’t as amazing as it ended up being, I’d probably say that the House finale was the best of the year.
Summary: I want Lost to win, but I’d be happy if House did. They both deserve it.
I agree, I love House. On the surface it seems to be a patient-of-the-week procedural show with the title character irritating his colleagues in between diagnoses, however the show has a lot of depth, especially if you bother to watch it weekly. Hugh Laurie is fantastic. The patients and medical jargon are really just a side show to a perpetually unhappy genius who has the best one-liners I’ve heard on TV (aside from Sawyer and Miles).
The House finale this year was pretty impressive. It had a game changing moment, much like finding out Locke is still dead was game changing at the end of The Incident. Come to think of it, I liked all the finales I bothered to watch this year, including Fringe.
Of course in the poll mentioned in TFA I voted for Lost.
This season of House and all of the Thirteen BS made me quit watching the show altogether. I can’t believe they’re winning. It is going downhill FAST.
Yay, we are back to number 1!
we’re back under house again, although only slightly:
8.8% Friday Night Lights
7.0% Gossip Girl
10.8% Grey’s Anatomy
36.7% House
36.6% Lost
Back to number 1 again!
Never liked House. Pretty much the same thing every week. House is a jerk. All his “friends” put up with him cause they hate him and admire him at the same time. And they almost kill someone with an obscure illness trying to figure out what it is. That’s every House episode in a nutshell.
Did I mention that House is a jerk?
that’s why it’s great to watch, if House was just another one of those nice doctors you find on modern dramas *ahem*, nobody would watch it. But since he’s such a jerk, yet saves lives week in week out, it makes for good dinner time entertainment. And Hugh Laurie is probably up there with Michael Emerson and Terry O’Quinn as far as being acting gods.
I love both Lost and House. It’s like choosing a favorite child.
Is it just my computer or did the font get changed?
when does this thing end?
Lost Is #1 all the time
8.4% Friday Night Lights
6.6% Gossip Girl
10.3% Grey’s Anatomy
36.7% House
38.1% Lost
I am sure there are some people here that are fans of the HBO show Rome. Well, I was watching season 2 and thinking that Gia looks very familiar when I realized that it is the same actress that is playing Iliana and Damn is she ever sexy in Rome.
I’ve voted over and over 30 times, I wonder if each vote gets counted.
To be honest, I’m note sure why people should care enough to vote. It’s not like Lost is vying for renewal or anything. Ultimately, it’s just a meaningless award that isn’t going to any of us.
actually, people do care. over at dark’s site he has also done this with voting competitions involving Lost and the number of people that went to the site and voted was astounding. And it seems to be working here because when this post first went up Lost was behind by a couple of % points and now is currently ahead by 3%.
I didn’t say people don’t care. I said I’m not sure why they should. What does it matter whether or not Lost wins? No one doing the voting gets the award, nor will it help keep the show on the air beyond the sixth season. Ultimately, there’s nothing to be gained in the voting–so why should people care? The award is meaningless.
House is getting the vote because of the Kal Penn issue and his characters death on the show.
Has everyone noticed that TheTailSection.com is a completely dead site now? No one ever posts even a single response anymore to any of the posts there. What’s more, new posts only show up one every couple of weeks or so–and even then, it’s just a link to someone else’s site, not actual content. It’s a real shame how badly that site has fallen apart since John and BuddyTV took over it’s management. It’s completely irrelevant to fans now. I hope Doc eventually reposts all of his TTS articles on this site, because this is THE hub for Lost fandom now that TTS is a dead site.
Lost is pulling ahead!
