Yeah, they had Sun’s birthday on Jin’s gravestone as well. Her being born in 1980 doesn’t make much sense, as she graduated from Seoul National University before meeting Jin and married him in 2000. So she got a university degree at age 19 at the latest.

It looks like there is no West on the compass.
It’s there, but this compass is in some Romance language, possibly French. As far as I know, all of them have O words for west.
Starting with the N and going counterclockwise, it should spell the word “NOSE”
I have a bronze nautical compass with symbols of N,S,W and “O” for “Orient”

Here’s a thought, if Sun really was born in 1980, why couldn’t the baby be her?
Because she’d need to be older. According to the Pierre Chang video released at Comic-Con, he’s at least 30 years in the past. The baby looked to be about 8-9 months old. The age doesnt really matter up.
Also, while watching the Pierre Chang video, you’ll notice once the baby starts crying in the background, Chang says “Damnit Lara (Laura?), will you just take HIM outside.”
So the baby is a boy. So it could be Jin, could be Miles. The dominant theory is that the baby is Miles, and that’s the one I’d go with as well.
Richard’s compass has the letter O representing west… could this mean the compass is Spanish in origin?
