Rumors of a super cool season 5 set have come to fruition, and here it is! The LOST Complete 5th Season Dharma Initiation Kit has been revealed and is now available for preorder on DVD
As you can plainly see, the packaging harkens back to the era of the Dharma initiative. Disk sheaths are designed to look like 5 3/4 discs, just like your old Apple ][ used, there are phamplets, stickers, and various other recruitment materials for the good old D.I., all bound in an authentically weathered slip case.

Pathetic nerd gripes about it not matching the other Lost season boxes aside, this set looks so cool, it almost makes me wonder if they can top it with the inevitable “complete series” set down the road.
Agree. I might have to get the Initiation kit on DVD and the regular release on Blu Ray. It would drive me crazy to have the fifth season not match the others.

I’m pretty frugal with purchasing most stuff. However, I’m not worried about the price of things I’m passionate about (LOST). I’d might get both, just to lend one copy out to people I’m trying to get into the show.

Trust me, Wombat, I’m very far from rich. I am very selective about what I buy, though. Lost is one of very few television shows that I really care about, and I’d be willing to put forth some extra money for some nerdy swag.

The price is indeed pretty reasonable, but it is twice as much as the normal season 5 (so the regular one is quite cheap actually, here in Holland I normally pay 45-50 euros (about 60-65 euros)
Doc (or anyone else in the know) to you know if it would be playable in the UK?
Wouldn’t they release it on Region 2 DVD, too? Or is this edition for America only?
Those floppies are 5.25″, not 5.75″.
