wow. great clips. the premire is finally upon us. That second clip was very interesting, Richard seemed really pissed off and it was also good to see that killing the resident god on the island hasnt stoped ben from lying with every passing sentence.
Yeah, and some people still think Ben is a good guy. Sigh.
good is such a perceptual thing. i myself don’t think he’s good, but being used and manipulated doesn’t necessarily make him evil. he lives by a set of rules and people keep changing them on him. plus the whole rebirth thing at the temple…
well i would be pissed to if someone thought it was the real person telling the truth Richard is maybe thinking to himself what did i do ? because the evil John Locke set up the whole thing if you remember he told Richard your going have to die john and he give back his compass

probably nothing, but the way ben is standing over the fire really reminded me of his most recent promo pics. Just found that interesting. Also, was Jacobs body already gone or burnt up when flock and ben were having that conversation. How can his body already be completly gone in a few short minutes?
They didn’t want to have to pay Mark Pellegrino for appearing in this episode.
lol. I hope thats not the case. I would really like to see jacob make at least a brief appearance in the premiere.

Yeah. That’s what I thought too. Unless his body “disappeared” due to his being a special being.
It seems to be either another giant plothole/blooper or it is because Jacob’s body isn’t really corporeal. Maybe he is just an other apparition of smokie or a super being opposed to the smoke monster.
The latter explanation appears to be more plausible (at least to a wishfully thinking fan). So IS Jacob another face of Smokie?
His body disappeared ala Ben Kenobi.
Maybe Locke was actually referring to the fact that he disappeared, not that he died…because Jacob’s body is most definitely not in that fire. Pretty sure that would’ve been looked over.
Actually, on viewing it a second time it seems maybe he was just pushed all the way into the corner of the pit so he’s obscured from our view.
Omg. I can not wait to see what happens when richard goes into that foot and talks to flocke. Tuesday can not be here soon enough!

I feel these two scenes were shot last season and never used. They impact the cliffhanger’s effect so they were edited out. The fact that they are showing up as season 6 previews makes me think this is a red herring and that we are again being misled. I also feel that all of the scenes with Jacob touching the Oceanic 6 were from season 6 and were the final time traveling scenes we’ll see.
So you think the reality with Flocke has been wiped out? No way would they do that. I’m sure we’ll see these scenes in tomorrow’s episode.
I need to check but is that piece of fabric that Flocke cuts out to clean his knife the same piece of cloth that Illana takes from the cabin???
Nope. The fabric that Ilana found was lighter, more tan in color, and had an image of the statue woven into it.
