Want TV News? Visit TVOvermind.comOkay, time to start preparing for the last time around the bend. With the final season closing in fast, I’ve decided to face-lift the site one more time. Partly because I never got it to where I wanted it anyways, and partly to salute the theme (as we know if) of the coming season.
If you are a graphic artist interested in assisting with the design (I have all of the coding covered), please drop me a line at doctorarzt@gmail.com. If you have an online portfolio, please direct me to it.

Microsoft Store
if you would like ‘tester’ or the like in the future drop me a line, I’m game
I mean no disrespect in saying I’m really glad you want to change the look of the site because I think this one isn’t good at all. Sorry.
I agree, I don’t like it very much either. Sorry Doc; still the best Lost site around though…
You know where I stand on this issue Doc.
Wow Geiger, what a jackass. You could have totally got your point across without the tail end of that sentence.
What are you talking about? He was entirely polite and respectful about it. You, on the other hand, were not.
I think what John did was something called sarcasm. While it’s not the nicest thing, I can tell he was most likely not serious.
I’m fairly new to this site, but I like the design. If the changes are an improvement, that will be a bonus!
I’m sorry, John, but I have no idea what you’re talking about. I can’t think of a better, more polite way of expressing my opinion. I could have just been a douche bag internet troll and write that the current look of the site sucks, but instead I showed some manners and look what it got me!
I didn’t think you were being rude. And I know rude.
I agree, he was polite.
Who? You? The Hell you say Sir!
Just for perspective, GC, could you provide a link to a site you consider really well designed?
Nah, it wasn’t rude at all. Individuals have wildly varying tastes. I’ve already received plenty of panicked pleas to leave the site as it is, so my feelings aren’t hurt.
(Not that they would be anyways).
Great idea, while you’re at it please remove the SUPER ANNOYING pop up ads that keep coming back. Plus there’s some serious issues with scripts running wild around here.
Yeah, DEFINITELY remove the super-annoying pop-up ads and script issues. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about them, so I’m glad to see I’m not the only one.
Incidentally, has the site gone dark? There hasn’t been any article in a week. I hope that’s just because you’re preparing the redesign, and not a sign that this site is about to become as useless as TheTailSucktion.
1. As some say, quality is better than quantity. This site should not even be compared to the current state of the TailSection. DocArzt will post something that’s worth posting during the hiatus season.
2. If you are receiving pop-up ads, I’m curious what browser you’re using. Most modern ones now have decent pop-up blocker built-in. I seriously recommend updating your browser to a modern version.
3. As an added bonus, if you use Firefox, get the add-on AdBlock Plus – it will also remove annoying Flash banner ads.
Thanks for the tip. I just downloaded AdBlock Plus. Hopefully, that’ll make the difference, because as much as I like this site, I’ve been thinking about leaving since the pop-ups keep showing up.
Nah not going dark at all. Stay tuned, this coming week will be plenty busy enough.
On the subject of the pop-ups. They aren’t going anywhere, but you are welcome to block them. I do, and it is very effective. I’m using firefox and never see a popup on the site.
Why would you add pop ups to your site to generate revenue and then tell us to block them? Makes no sense. I’m beginning to think that DocArzt is a serious fuktard.
Well, there’s no reason to be such an asshole about it, lostie1999. Doc is a cool guy, and this is a cool site. I agree that pop-up ads suck, and that it’s a shame he’d choose to use them despite people complaining about it, but hey, that’s business. As for pop-up blockers, I use one, along with Firefox. This is the only site at which pop-ups show up, so clearly there’s something unusual going on with this site’s coding, enabling it to bypass blockers.
There’s the door lostie… don’t let it hit your profound ass on the way out…
Depending on how the new layout works ad-wise, I am considering getting rid of the pop-ups. But I certainly would not blame anyone for blocking them if they are annoying. Too bad there is no catch-all for blocking trolls though, eh?
