In the press release for episode seven we learn that Sayid and Desmond get an audience with the freighter captain. That man will be played by Australian actor Grant Bowler. He was the host of the Australian version of "The Mole," and more recently starred in the series "Outrageous Fortune."

In an unrelated note, John Galt, of Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged is an industrialist who convinces the world's geatest minds and producers of goods to travel with him to a mysterious paradise that's been rendered invisible to the prying eyes of the outside world.
Oh, wait. Did I say "unrelated"?
So Captain Galt, eh?
I like the choice of name, but I like the idea even better...if only Hank and Dagny would show up...
