Looks like it might be set in a Middle Eastern Country... another Sayid episode?
It's great to see that they tried to get some Arabic signage for their "Tunisian" location ... the they need a new consultant of graphic designer. The Arabic signs in the background, aside from clearly not being real, are not typeset correctly. Arabic, even typed, is a cursive script with most of the letters joined together. The words also appear to be gibberish (which is ok for most of the US audience, I imagine). But one sign is simply a transliteration of the work "plastic."
All that, and the Toyota clearly has a US license plate on it. Ha!
It's a shame because such small details really help to make the show's experience richer.
