I already posted this before he split them up, but that girl on the phone sounds just like Naomi

Well that's creepy. We might guess at one of several things:

1) The helicopter ran out of fuel and crashed in the ocean. Presumably Sayid survives.

2) The helicopter ended up in Tunisia or some other place on the globe. Of course if you're going to allow for it to be transported it's just as likely to end up in outer space or the interior of the planet. But then it would be safe to assume that Sayid does not survive.

3) The helicopter ended up in another time or a parallel universe.

4) The freighter person told a lie and is not admitting to the helicopter finding its way back. Perhaps it's not really a freighter and so to maintain their secret identity they are not allowing Sayid or Desmond to talk to anyone remaining on the island.

5) The helicopter did not escape the island. It simply flew in circles like Desmond travelled in circles in the sailboat. The helicopter ran out of fuel and landed in the water or some other part of the island, but it never truly escaped the island.

Don't think 'Gina / Regina sounds like Naomi at all. She sounds more Australian to me and Regina is more North of England. Just my tuppence worth.

Also are you digging all the exchanges of glances between Dan and Charlotte? What are they so secretive about?
