Plays as 16 or 17, Caucasian, green eyes. Angry, a little nerdy, defiant and rebellious. There's a lot more to this kid than meets the eye. Tries to fight back against older, stronger boys but is pushed into a locker. NICE CO-STAR.
[TEENAGE GIRL]
Plays as 16, Caucasian, red hair (or willing to dye hair red). Emotional, prone to dramatic gestures, passionately in love and fights with her Mom about it. NICE CO-STAR.

Boy and teenage boy: Daniel flashback? Or Locke?
I was hoping for a minute it would be ugly duckling Sawyer before-turned-into-swan. I'd love to see Sawyer getting pushed into a locker intercut with scenes of him being gorgeous and badass on the island.
But he was sort of a tv watching kid, I think. ;)
I wonder if the redhead is younger Charlotte..
Other theories/ gut feelings? This is fun...
I'm thinking Ben and Annie. but with episode 9 possibly being a Ben episode, I can't see him getting another one?
I think the episode was Ben-centric pre-strike, but post-strike they decided to push it back until later in the season (to accommodate the condensed second half).
So Ben and Annie is probably dead on.
I was thinking Ben and Annie until I saw the red-hair note for the girl. Unless Annie-as-teenager goes the way of "Angela Chase ala my so called life" and just looks like a grunge-y teen with red hair, in which case it very well could be Annie.
Hmm... I wonder if it's Locke. Do you think they'd give more backstory on Locke at this point? An episode of Locke as a boy would give the writers an opportunity to connect Locke to the larger island mythology.
So if its a Ben FB, are you thinking the 5 year old is pre-DHARMA and the teenage part is on Island. So, great, does that mean Ben got shoved into a locker by some DHARMA jocks? No wonder he gased them!

I wouldve said Daniel and Charlotte, but I read their episodes got pushed ahead because of the strike, so Ben is highly likely. We really dont know too much about his past, and hes a huge character.
I wonder if they will do any flash forwards on the island.................
AH HA! Took me a while to track this down, but I remembered this from deep within the bowels of Lost history. The recent casting bit tipped me off. I wonder if these two things are linked somehow?
