The purpose of the promotion is to help keep the site going (as explained in this post, we've hit a budget problem).
There are three tiers of donation, with three subscription lengths:
$5.00 - One Month Ad-Free with Bonus Content
$15.00 - Six Months Ad-Free with Bonus Content
$25.00 - One Year Ad-Free with Bonus Content
There are two ways to sign up. Visit this post, make one of the donation amounts above, and email me with the contact button above with your existing forum id. This is for current forum members ONLY.
Second is self serve and will IMMEDIATELY stop the ads. Simply sign up to the forums by click on the register link in the upper left of the nav, under the header:
Once you have completed the registration you will see this box. Click on the link pointed to by the arrow:
From there, at the bottom of the left hand column, click "Paid subscriptions." Select your subscription length/donation, go to PayPal, return, Log out, Log back in, and Voila. No ads, and bonus content are live immediately.
New subscription modules and forum areas will be added over the next couple of days, any requests or ideas... send them my way.
IF you have already donated, create an account in the forum and email me your user name and I'll activate the subscription manually.
