01-eddy.jpg The dynamic duo of Horowitz and Kitsis talked with SciFI Wire about the missing three episodes of season 4.  In the article, Kitsis suggested the follow:

"I have a feeling it will mean more, like, two-hour shows as opposed to more episodes, but those are decisions above our pay grade."

This would be an awesome idea.  If you think about it, two hour premiers for seasons 5 and 6, along with a three part series finale would be a win win for fans.  Read the full article for more of Eddy and Adam's words of wisdom.

that's four extra hours you're accounting for. we only have three to work with.

i feel like it will most likely be 2, two-hour premiers and a two-hour series finale.

I think he's referring to the way they typically do things-- even this season, with only five episodes to go, they're doing the season finale as a two-hour episode. It's going to be split up over two weeks, but it's going to be "Such-and-Such, Pt. 1" and "Such-and-Such, Pt. 2." If they took the two hours they would probably already plan for the series finale, and added on a third hour from this season's missing episodes, we'd have a whole evening of Lost!
