It's true, Michael Emerson didn't win, and hope as we might... either did LOST. But that's okay, as many of you have said if the mainstream suddenly got LOST, what would we have to justify our obsession?

On the non-spoilerish side of things, a new cast member has joined Lost's fifth season. His name is... Said Taghmaoui. But, that is not the best part. Along with this announcement, Darlton has temporarily broken 'radio silence' (were we ever officially in radio silence this season?) with some commentary about Said Taghmaoui's character as well as another character, and just how important they will be to the overall story. Hopefully this is good news for all of you! There are now NO spoilers on the mainstreet of the site. There ARE spoilers in the feed, but I've removed the excerpts so they are 'title only'. Furthermore, we're going to stick with a format of DATE ONLY in spoiler post titles. IE:

"LOST Season 5 Spoiler Update 9/08/2009 - Episode 5.02"

All of this is to address feedback from you guys, so if you feel this is insufficient, please let me know. I'd consider busting my Spoiler feed into a separate feed if it is what you guys want.

If you want to see spoilers, they are hidden on the left hand nav bar of the front page. Since I'm still working on the new article page the site will look more or less old school on the inside. I expect to update that later.

More features coming sooner than later. Keep your eyeballs open.

Wanna be on LOST? Now is your chance. You just have to live in Hawaii. According to KITV, Lost is holding open auditions:

HONOLULU -- The hit ABC TV show "Lost" is holding an open casting call for anyone interested in being on the show.The call will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Ala Wai Elementary School.Auditions are expected to last until 5 p.m. (8/15)

Here's my take on it: Dharma. This wide and non-specific of a casting call cries out for Dharma, and we already know Dharma is going to be a big part of Season Five.

"Because You Left". My first gut reaction to this is: whoa, they are going to get right to it. I'm guessing "Because You Left" will detail the events that took place after the Oceanic 6 left, or at least set up an arc that aims to accomplish that much needed task by the end of the season.
