Although we didn't get the answer to John Locke's question "What is the Monster?", we were treated to a healthy dosage of Lost Easter Eggs. (Click to Enlarge)

First off, the picture in Myles flashback has a striking resemblance to Mister Eko and maybe even Yemi. Could this picture actually be of Eko?

In Charlotte's flashback we see the newspaper that was featured in Find 815's
Chapter 3 Clue Hunt.

Frank Lapidus owns a travel agency, did he quit Oceanic Air after the crash?

Another familiar item from Find 815, this one is featured in the
Chapter 1 Clue Hunt. If you were to call the number, you will here a voice message left by George Cavanaugh.

There were 3 of the numbers hidden in this episode. The number 15 (shown above), and the numbers 8 and 42 (on the helicopter below).

That's all the eggs for now! Keep your eyes peeled for more easter eggs!

The numbers in the helicopter callsign was almost certainly not intentional. Even for TV or movie filmings, one doesn't risk a federal offense to mess with FAA rules to alter callsigns painted on aircraft. That's why we saw different callsigns on the Nigerian drug plane, one for the working craft, and one for the junked one.
In fact a google search reveals N842M belongs to a UH-1B formerly owned by Garlick Helicopters: http://www.aircraftone.com/aircraft/models/garlick_helicopters_inc_uh_1b_3740001.asp
The aircraft in Lost appears to be a UH-1B (to my untrained eye), so that's a match. Deeper web searches will probably reveal the helicopter to be currently owned by a tourirst helicopter service on Oahu.

It seems unlikely that the woman in California would be haunted by Eko or Yemi. The were from Nigeria weren't they? I know it isn't impossible, but the picture and the way the room was decorated didn't seem like it could remotely even belong to Yemi or Eko. Maybe a young Michael. It did seem like the camera panned over too obviously make the photo stand out.
As for the numbers, uh...they are cursed...duh! Just kidding, its always fun to spot the numbers! And its nice to see how much Find815 is tied into the show already.
Looking at it again, the kid in the picture is definitely not Mr. Eko. They have different shaped heads :D
I thought there's probably something relevant about the "ghost" grandson in the picture, but it doesn't look like Eco or Yemi, and it wouldn't seem likely they'd have relatives in california.
It could be that there's no connection, and they just showed the picture so we could imagine the ghost kid. But if there was a connection to existing characters, my hunch was that the woman was Michael's mother and the dead kid was Michael's nephew and Walt's cousin. She could also be Rose's sister. Or she could just be a totally unrelated character.
Speaking of relationships, anyone else think that Miles could be related to Marvin Candle, the guy in the dharma orientation films?
Can we get a closer look at the photo of the pilot, Seth Norris, I can't tell if that's Greg Grunberg with a Mustache or someone else.
Before he was Matt Parkman, he was the Pilot in the Pilot.
Looks like Grunberg with a 'stache to me.
How come anytime another person that is black show up it has to have something to do with Eko, Rose, or Michael? It was the same thing with the coffin. black neighbor, it's got to be Michael.
People don't even realize how they sound. The two boys look nothing alike.
Anyways how could it possibly be Eko? he died on the island, he never sold drugs in the states, he certainly wasn't murdered there. The room was made to look like a teens bedroom, not a 30ish grown Nigerian priest's room. Think about it.
yo Luke, it might help to look 4 posts up and c that Koobie admited they don't look alike so no need to go into a tantrum.
Can we get a close up of the date on the newspaper? Still not entirely convince that these a flash-forwards or flash-backs.
names of new people?
dan farday - the one who comes with faraday's cage well know for all familiar with electricity...
lapidus - dont have time today but there is a thought. looks chemistry for me......
any comments?
"How come anytime another person that is black show up it has to have something to do with Eko, Rose, or Michael?"
Same reason any time a white person shows up we speculate that they might have a relationship with some other white character on the show.
This show has an insane number of relationships between characters. They've set that up.
Would you feel more politically correct warm and fuzzy if people theorized that the black kid was maybe a relative of Shannon? Or Sun's long lost nephew?
And I'm offended that people think that Jack and Claire may be brother and sister...so I guess all white people look alike?
I wasn't trying to be an a** guys sorry. It really wasn't just directed at this site. I had also just read a comment where people were thinking the Arab lady with Charlotte was freaking Nadia. i just kinda exploded.
I realize there are lots of connections on Lost, but sometimes it gets down right ridiculous when it's based on something like "it's a black neighborhood it just has to be a black man in the coffin." Like I said some times people don't realize how they sound. Not here mind you, I guess I just used it as a sounding board.
I apologize Doc & to everyone. I, by no means, meant that you or anyone on this board are racist.
***Morty I am letting that "yo" slide. ;) J/K
The travel agency is the same one Locke is seen in throwing a fit about the tour he is supposed to go on in a past episode.
Its definitely not Mr. Eko.
I agree with Luke's original point. white people do this all the time. and yes, Im a white American male and no I dont mean ALL white people.
saying that is like when Sun's lover debuted all those seasons ago and everyone acted like he & Jin might be related. Its just one of those things where people think that people of other ethnic backgrounds and skin colors all look alike.
Its not Eko, those were pictures of himself at different points of his life.
Milo, what the person you responded to was saying is true. When new white characters show up on Lost, people don't immediately speculate that they are related. The show even has to do entire episodes establishing the relationships between white characters (ie Jack & Claire) to show when they are directly related.
As a white American male, I can say that white people that I know act like this ALL the time, they treat people of other ethnic backgrounds and skin colors in different ways than they would white people. Like 'they all know each other' somehow. I mainly see this influence coming from the older generation and as time goes by hopefully this will get better
Connections shouldn't be assumed unless its obvious.... not the other way around where you assume connections until they're disproven.
well said luke... well said...
while we're looking at the pics of the dead boy, did anyone notice that the picture frames had changed from wood when miles arrived to metal when he left?
i tried embedding the pics in that previous post, here's the links to the before and after photos:

"When new white characters show up on Lost, people don't immediately speculate that they are related."
Sure they do. People theorize about every possible relationship between every possible character. I guess people's "racism" detector doesn't go off when those speculations are about two white characters.
And Christian Shephard being Claire's dad was widely speculated before the show spilled that secret.
'they all know each other' applies to ALL the characters on this show. They're all connected, it's the whole point of the show, not some imagined race thing.
