It's a little embarrassing, but my wife caught this the second it appeared. That definitely looks like a dharma logo from a distance but when we look at it upclose, from the inside, you can see that it is purely by chance. Or was it?

I saw that too, but seriously thought I was hallucinating. Too wrapped up in the story, I didn't rewind to check and forgot about it by later with so much happening!!!
One cool thing about this capture is that Hurley looks like a Jedi and the fire looks like a lightsaber. Hurleys clothing makes him look like Obi Wan...lol Could there be any reference to Star Wars (like Dave said before, The Death Star was never really destroyed) and the magic of filming. I wouldnt be surprised.
Doc, huge favor. Can you get a screencap of the flashfowards towards the end of the episode. Just when Jack was leaving from the conversation with Hurley, we can see a chalkboard and what looks like equations.
I thought the same thing too. It stood out like a sort thumb. Has to be on purpose!
uhh...this may sound stupid,but I don't see the dharma logo. can you point it out?
@ m.candle: look just over Hurley's right shoulder, right wear his hair ends.
It looks like the reversed image of what you see in the closeup inset above, but from a distance has the appearance of a DHARMA logo.
