I have been trying to make something out of these whispers. There were two instances, before and after the appearance of Harper. Here are the mp3's of the two scenes played forward and reverse. If you have the patience and the software, use these to isolate and decipher the whispers.

I couldn't understand a thing... :(
The whispers scene1, to me sound like its saying "You heard someone?" or "I heard someone" and "somebody's coming" But haven't we heard this before?
Scene 2, the 1st thing being said to me sounds like A)"Hurry" or B)someone's name. But im not expert at any of this so I could be way off. Either way, I
This sounds like a case where they aren't using backwards audio on the show. The reversed audio sounds like reversed audio rather than making the whispers clearer. The clearest thing I can hear is in the 2nd clip and sounds like "Do it." There's too much noise going on to make anything very audible. I think the point here is that Ben has some connection to the whispers and possibly some control over them. They start before his messenger, Harper, appears and continue after she mysteriously disappears. Maybe he has some control over the visions that people see on the island.
If you're familiar with the bulk of the whisper transcription from earlier in the series, you'll know it's not simply as easy as back-masking them.
We need Sara and Chelsy to take a crack at it separating left, right and center audio tracks and doing other cleanup work. It's been documented that it's not as simple as just reversing it.
Anyone know how to reach out to them? (Maybe they're working on it as we speak).
Maybe Ben had nothing to do with Harper's appearance. Maybe she was a configuration of smokey and/or Jacob......
I could almost swear that somewhere in clip one (not reversed) at the 7th second, the voice says, "Sarah has the answer to everything" and towards the end a female voice says "I have the answer" or "I want the answer".
I used Windows Media Player and tweaked the speed to slow as well as changing the graphic equalizer to speech (under view and enhancements)
The last reversed clip (whispers 02 reversed) says (imho) "Sarah has it" second voice more in a whisper seems to say "Sarah has it?" and then a womans voice says "I have it"
Anyone else get a similar result?
In scene one, it sounds like a man is repeating the line, "There is somebody there." Then a woman says, "An Other?" or "Another?"
i thought i also heard whispers right before Juliet entered the tempest. they seemed to whisper her name
They definitely say something like:
'I heard someone'
'Hurry, somebody's coming'
And they aren't reversed.
I tried cleaning it up the first scene a little bit and this is what I *think* I hear. There are three distinct voices - Sarah, Tom(maybe?), and Malcolm.
Tom: Someone...
Sarah: Tom, here they come.
Tom: Malcolm, Sarah heard somebody coming.
Malcolm: What?
Tom: Sarah heard somebody coming.
Malcolm: Oh my god, that's him.
(then there's something I can't get, and someone says, "there")
Malcolm: No, it isn't.
(at the same time)Sarah: Here they come.
Then Juliet says, "Jack?"
