All signs point up... towards Jupiter that is. As I learn more and more about the various tests participants can take, I am starting to get a focus in on the important of Jupiter. For starters, there were 8 separate tests that participants could take and I remember 6 of their names:

Amalthea, Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, Himalia and Io.

Now each of these is also based in Greek mythology.

Amalthea was a nurturing foster mother to Zeus and she is connected to the modern day cornucopia due to her horn which was shaped like a cornucopia.

Callisto was a lover of Zeus who was turned into a bear because of her secret love with Zeus.  Zeus seduced Callisto by transforming himself into Apollo.

Europa was a woman of high lineage who which Europe was named after. She represented a lunar cow.

Ganymede was a divine hero from Troad which is now modern day Turkey. He was the cup bearer to the gods.

Himalia was a nymph who bore Zeus three sons.

Io was a priestess of Hera in Argos (A city in Greece). Zeus seduced her as well and turned her into a cow to save her.
