It’s now 10:00pm est, I’ve completed my umpteenth viewing of the first and second episodes of LOST’s fifth season and in a strange sense I wish I hadn’t seen them. Why? Getting an early glimpse is great, but now I have to live with knowing that my steady stream of LOST goodness won’t settle into a regular rhythm until January 28th. Daniel Dae Kim is making headlines again, this time the ‘right’ kind of headlines.  The LOST star and his wife have pulled out the stops and generously donated a boat-load of toys to the ‘Toys for Tots’ drive.  Very awesome stuff.

The site will be relaunching today with several improvements.  First of all, you will no longer have to be a member of the forums to comment.  This means a return to open commenting.  Second, I’m addressing some of the concerns about excessive advertising and the overall readability of the site.  Aside from that I have a workable gallery solution that will be much easier to use.

As for the posting:  I get a lot of questions about when I’m going to…

Today I attended the roundtable for LOST Season 4 on DVD. I got three questions in, which you can read in the previous post, and got to see a special feature from the LOST Season 4 DVD that was ridiculously cool, particularly when put in context with the scene from the premiere that was released earlier today. For your viewing pleasure, here is the documentary. It seems that this sets the tone for what is going on with the Oceanic…

Hey Folks. Unfortunately, DocArzt.com and any sites on this server will very likely be out of commission for the next week or so.  We have been unable to make the payment for the hosting and are beyond the grace period offerred by the service provider.  Like everyone we are hard hit by the issues with the economy, and I do not expect to be able to make the payment in time to prevent a disconnect.  What I’ll say is that…

Bonnie Covel of ABOUT.com wrote a very flattering review of the book I co-wrote with Amy J. Johnston (AKA Hijinx).  Here’s some of what she had to say:

Lost Ate My Life is the best book about Lost I have ever read, mostly because it’s not so much about the show but about us, the fans.”

“The book drew me in right from the beginning with a foreword by Javier Grillo-Marxuach who calls Lost ‘a rare phenomenon in that it achieved both…
