Given the long hiatus, I decided to reach out to and get acquainted with LOST background actor Dustin Watchman. You may not recognize the name, but you’ve seen his character Scott Jackson appear in every season of LOST thus far (and it seems that we haven’t seen the last of him on the show).

We’ve been MySpace friends for a while but never connected until now. I was intrigued and impressed by Dustin’s very charitable adventures. Although his personal site (http://dustinwatchman.com)…

Naveen Andrews talks with Digital  Spy about Season 4, the challenge of playing Sayid in Flash Forwards, and the possibilities of  A Lost Spin-Off.

What did you make of the season finale?
“I was
really pleased with it, because it’s the closest we’ve come to season
one in terms of the standard of excellence. They needed to get it back
on track and they have.”

You were quite critical of season three, weren’t you?
“So
was everyone else, as far as I know. I’m not alone in…

Kristin at E! interviewed Darlton yesterday and asked many of the questions we all had following “Cabin Fever”:

“Among the findings in this interview:

  • The question is not whether Claire is dead but “What happened to Claire?”
  • Christian Shephard is dead.
  • Time travel is definitely happening on this show.
  • Sounds
to me like Richard Alpert is doing it. (Remind me later of a theory I
have relating to time travel and the knocking up of Losties’ moms!)
  • They were surprised by today’s “announcement” of two extra episodes in…

The Emmy Award-winning actor Terry O’Quinn took some time out yesterday to speak with theater students at Wesleyan University.

“Over the years, I’ve seen actors approach characters from different
ways. They may say, ‘My character doesn’t like your character, so I
can’t like you.’ Or they might remain in character all day. Now that
doesn’t work for me, but you have to respect what someone needs to make
it work,” said O’ Quinn, who noted he always takes on supporting roles
as being just that…

Emerson comes up just shy of a Spoiler when asked if he is one of the Oceanic 6, and whether he truly works for Jacob:

  • Does Ben work for Jacob? “Ben has certainly set it up that way”. Emerson is still not sure what Jacob is.
  • The Oceanic Six is a publicity construct. Ben lives in the shadows. He doesn’t officially exist. He notes that Kate seems to have Claire’s child now…

Here’s a link to the interview. Emerson’s portion begins about a third…

Elizabeth Mitchell talks about her enigmatic portrayal of Juliet, growing up in Texas, and how she got Lost.

“I really identify with Juliet,” says Mitchell
before hastening to draw the obvious contrasts. “I have quite a lovely
life with my family (son C.J., now 2½ years old, and her husband,
actor-comedian Chris Soldevilla). Juliet doesn’t have that. She sits on
this reservoir of anger and loneliness. That’s what makes me not know
what she’s capable of. And I think that’s fascinating, that’s really
neat.

“I think she’s…

Yunjin Kim was interviewed this morning on ABC’s The View. She was quite charming and unspoilery.

  • She can’t say if she is getting off the island. You will find out next week and meet all of the O6.
  • If she were the right age, etc., she would love to play Locke.
  • The main difference between her stardom here and in South Korea is that there are not paparazzi in South Korea, which is very nice.
  • It was her dream, growing up here,…
